There was one version recently coming with aroma that didn't install the two apps but i don't remember which one exactly... better listen to you Matzehtc;)
If you prefer finally go to the latest version Skezza, note that it's a wipe data due to partition change one..if you wanted to just upgrade from previous Helly.

so ~27 hours of uptime on a newly flashed 2808 and test kernel, Wheatley gov on powersave with bfq, and in the last hour it so it's startes to feel a laggy. I was about to reboot to see if that would help, but instead changed gov to ondemand. Back to feeling snappy. Do not understand.

Oh okay, which version should I download then?

To be honest, I aren't bothered about the fancy aroma installer, I just like one that flashes both apps :p I can always remove them later if I fancy!

Still the latest:
http://rootaxbox.no-ip.org/derteufel/test/
Apart from having two market apps automatically installed you may want to be up to date on the ROM you choosed ;)
Just note that it will wipe your data no matter wich rom you're coming from and it will reboot to recovery after first flash attempt, you'll have flash the rom again,it's normal.

That is cool. I think i'm going to choose this ROM. I've been playing the field to be honest, seeing which one I like. Tried C-Rom (no good for me), Helly Bean, definitely looking good and currently on X-Bean. Will maybe try the Nexus ROM but none of them so far have come to close to Helly Bean, especially with the S3 theme, that is hot hot hot! :D

If you're window/Odin user as PDA nothing else ticked except maybe auto-reboot (you could try both, ticked first to see if it boot and if not unticked then pull off battery>go manually to recovery to see if it's "back").
The zImage in it can be used via Heimdall if it's what you're using usually.

adb reboot recovery

@Pootch : Install adb if you have not, plug your phone to the PC and type adb reboot recovery in a terminal.
This will boot the phone in recovery. Then you should be able to flash again, fix permissions, etc.

Worked auto-reboot ticked?
Could you please provide the last_kmsg. bak file you should have in /data?
(If you didn't reboot again since then)

Weird bug for me on 28th build. Home button doesn't work half the time, and takes 5 seconds to do so. Phone doesn't freeze, can continue using app until home screen appears.

Sent from my beautiful Galaxy S running The Devil Helly Bean Rom with Devil kernel.

Ive been on the test builds since the begining and for me this latest build (28) is the slowest one and im having lag.Its kinda like the first samsung roms.Long time to install apps, long time to get back to home launcher etc.Just to let you know nothing else.Keep up the great work you have done so far.Thanks.

For me the ROM is very quick. Could you try to remove Google Now (QuickSearchBox.apk from /system/apk)? I've removed it and seems it's much faster. Maybe it is the reason of the lags and media server issues?

Since official CM10 alpha got released today, I don't think, that there still is a need to update this rom. Going back to normal kernel business.

uploading V2 right now to http://devil.haxer.org/jellybean/ as well as to http://rootaxbox.no-ip.org/divers/jellybean/

because of my upload speed, this is going to take about 1 hours...

    changes:
    - rom slimmed down and gapps/su fix included (thx to bhu1)
    - replaced ear.apk with one supposed to work (user report)
    - replaced hw composer with the one from nexus s (this is the jb one, old release was using ics hw composer)
    - fixed recording of 720p (upstream fix to media_profiles.xml

    install instructions:
    - wipe (coming from previous version, you also can try flashing without wipe, and wipe only, if you are facing issues)
    - flash
    - fix permissions
    - reboot

    have to work now. cu

kernel 1.7.4 is online now :)

i'll try to summerize the changes quickly...have to sleep:

    - latest linux 3.0.46
    - latest changes from android kernel source
    - low mem killer changes from steve kondik (cyanogen)
    - updateted recovery to latest version
    - fixed charging issues
    - vibrator intensity changes from cm team
    - dynamical fsync by faux123:
The dynamic sync control interface uses Android kernel's unique early
    suspend / lat resume interface.

While screen is on, file sync is disabled
when screen is off, a file sync is called to flush all outstanding writes
and restore file sync operation as normal.

There was non working WiFi on Fishears 10/10 built too, maybe it just wasn't the good time to build.
    http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=1896472&page=45

Had to clean my build folder. Wifi working now, after clean rebuild. I am trying to fix the other small issues, and upload the fixed version tomorrow morning... Compiling clean is taking many hours on my old computer...
