Installation Instructions:
Installation Instructions:
1. Boot into latest recovery
2. Wipe everything, even your butt (that includes data, cache, system)
3. Flash
4. Flash Google Apps (if you so choose)
5. Flash SuperSU
6. Reboot
7. Report bugs to us so we can fix them

Make sure you are using the zv8 bootloader on the LS980.
Make sure you are using the 12b bootloader on the VS980. If you need it, follow the instructions on this thread:
http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=2451426

The best recoveries for use with this ROM are:
TWRP: 2.8.1.1 or greater http://xdaforums.com/lg-g2/development/twrp-twrp-2-8-0-0-kernel-f2fs-tools-t2898705
CWM: 6.0.5.2 or greater
PhilZ: 6.0.4.8

If you lose access to you SD card (known to occasionally happen on the LS980) follow these commands:
Connect your phone to your PC with ADB enabled
Code:
adb shell
su
restorecon -FR /data/media/0

FAQ:

Why does it say that I am resources are busy or in use? I've unmounted (and tried mounting) /system and /data...

Recovery says this because the script tells it to mount system and data even though they get mounted automatically. Therefore when it tries to mount it and it is already mounted, it gives you that warning. Its NOT an error. Just let it finish and it finishes successfully, then you should be all set.

How would I go about rooting the ROM in its current state?

  1. Download the SuperSu Beta from HERE!
STEP FOR THOSE WITHOUT SDCARD ACCESS IN ROM:
  2. Boot into recovery and adb push the zip
    --------------------------------------------------------------
  3. Boot into recovery and flash
  4. Reboot and profit! :D

How would I go about fixing the roaming bug present in vs980 and ls980?

Open the dialer and dial *#*#4636#*#* and select "Phone Information" on the menu that pops up. Press the 3 dots menu and select "Select radio band". Select the US band.

What in the hell is this community coming to. A place where devs backstab eachother instead of work together and agree, A place where devs are disrespected and demanded when they do all the hard work and is their hobby/choice and a place where everyone is filled with hate and argue. Enough is enough. People need to suck up this I'm first pride and get over themselves. This post actually belongs in quite a few threads. You all have great developers and teams working on all this stuff in the entire community and yet you have some people with enough ignorance for these said devs who actually know more to just up and rage quit because of the constant disrespect and backstabbing. look at yourselves. This has become a place where there is just so much ridiculousness that even moderators have imploded on what this site is actually for by telling real devs to "suck it up" and users to just "stop acting like children". C'mon people we all have enough smarts to actually flash this stuff on our phones but not mature enough to act like real adults or at least a matured enough age? I could go on and on about this last week, especially with events in the last two days, but you know what I'm better than that. You can be too. You want a better xda and devs not to leave? then you make the change that you know is right.....You want to loose all these great people who break their backs on all this stuff...then by all means keep doing what your doing. Once you burn those said bridges you'll never be able to walk on them again. Unfortunately, This is already true for some devs who brought you great things.
