So i recently bought an ipower brand power bank 50,000mAh.. its pretty cheap..

And i wanna see whether it is really 50,000mAh or not because i charged my phone only few times and it is out of power. my phone battery is 1,160mAh. So weird.

any suggestions to check? im scared mine is fake.

The amount seems ridiculously large. But hey, who knows. Charge the powerbank, see how many times you can recharge your phone battery (or get friend's phone and friend's friend's phone too)

Is it about the size of a car battery? If not, it can't be 50 Ah @ 3,7 V. LOL

its like the size of note 2 and longer a bit. quite heavy.

well i noticed it takes like 8-12 hours to charge the powerbank when its really out of power.. could it be 50,000mAh since charging it is so long?

Only way to be sure is to measure it or rip it open and see what kind of cells and how many there are inside.
There is one more important question - 50 Ah at how many Volts? 3,7 V? 5 V? Or 1 ... ? The cells inside are likely going to be 3,7 V, but you never know how much power it actually stores unless you know both capacity and voltage against which it is measured or, even better, wattage.

For the Common appearance we saw in the market, the maximum capacity can be achieved 20000mah.
There are some supplier who provide power bank higher than 20000 mah, but normally they use 10 pieces of 18650 battery. And the the maximum amount of 33000mah can be done (nominal 34000mah)
Power bank has amp more than this number must be false.

8-12 hours is not very long at ALL to charge. I have a new 33,000mah battery that has GREAT reviews by a company called "Zero Lemon". It takes close to 20 hours to charge and can charge 2 tablets and 2 phones all at once. But again, it takes 20 hours to charge it (And when it shipped to me it wasn't completely empty so it would take longer to charge if empty). If you wanna see it, you can find it here. Google "Zero Lemon" and "30000" and you can see pics of it.
It's $59.99 and so far I LOVE it. Hope this helps. But again, yours just seems to charge WAY to fast for being larger than mine!
