So I finally got this to work, I think that i may have downloaded v5 when you had your test version up, cuz I had no WiFi just as with v4.7. So I re-downloaded, and the only problem that i noticed right off the bat was that about 15 of my market apps were unlinked to the market (Market Doctor fixed that), and from first boot after loading v5, i had no mobile network at all, but WiFi was working without error. So I figured I'd do a fix permissions, and reboot. Not sure if the fix permissions fixed it, or just the reboot alone, but now all seems to be working, and working well i might add. I chose deadline, and med for oom, running stock CM7.2 from March 8 (xjackofall's kang). I do have a question about this script tho, when i update my rom, am i going to have to re-run the script, or will init.d stay untouched if i'm just flashing over rom (just wiping dalvik, and cache)?
Does anyone have a copy of 4.6? my phone does not like 5.0. It won't get past the go make a sandwich part in the script manager. My phone ran great on 4.6. Thanks
when did you download the script. I had a bad copy on there for half the day yesterday. The correct version is up now and should work without a problem
I smurfed, and phone DOES feel snappier ... but:
I cannot browse internet via WiFi. Seems to be DNS-related. I can access my router (192.168.1.1) but not any sites by URL. 3G works fine.
Is this a known issue?
(I also messed around with my router around the same time; but all my other devices - Macs, iPad, etc - are working fine.)
@papa...just out of coursity is this script generally the same as the v6 script, and by same I mean are the two scripts running tweaks to help the phone.

Hey Papa Smurf151 seems your missing this one for wimax users
setprop net.tcp.buffersize.wimax 4096,1398102,2097152,4096,16384,110208
Make sure ur running the right script. When I released and for half day yesterday I had some bad settings in the script. It has sonar been resolved
Could you post the diff file? or the settings you removed?
I installed Juice Defender....again, and it gives lots of problem with the script, so I don't know if the settings you removed will make juice defender get along with the smurf script.
Besides that and after deleting the juice defender app and rebooting, everything works fine again.
What problems are you having. I have Juice Defender also and sometimes my 3g data will work and other times it wont. (with the phone smurfed) If i unsmurf I dont see problems. I recently started suspecting that juice defender and the script are not playing well with each other.
