Firstly, thanks to superatmos for the effort in developing this kernel. I've been testing it for a couple of hours and so far have noticed two things:
1) It spends quite a bit of time at the lower frequencies i.e. 300 MHz & 600 MHz compared to the stock kernel.
2) I'm noticing some lag with starting up certain applications.
Maybe the two things above are related. Perhaps you can look into it.

Hi, I'm from Malaysia, I just updated my firmware to the latest 2.3.6, it's an official firmware released by Samsung, here is the info:

Baseband ver:
I9100GDZKL3

Kernel Ver:
2.6.35.7
se.infra@SEI-43 #2

Built:
GINGERBREAD.DZKL3

Can I apply this kernel to root?? Thanks

YUP, you can flash this kernel thru odin. After completed install kernel, Is strongly recommended that backup your stock rom thru recovery. That was because you can restore your stock rom for officially ICS update soon.

@hermanchb Erm..I added lulzactive and other governors in..so want to try it out before proceed into more modification. and also want to learn how to create so just trying around first..but now got some compile errors here..mine doesn't has CWM build-in that's why i'm asking for help from superatmos :)

Can you upload the default Samsung S II bootanimation? I prefer the default one. ;)

I check it seems original Samsung S II bootanimation still present at system/media, anyway to use back origin bootanimation rather than this custom one?

I notice you mention put back the ODEAnim.zip, may I know where to get this file?

Looking good so far !

Anyone have a stock kernel of DZKL3? Mine seems to be malfunctioning.

Thanks for the new v.21 I9100G only kernel. ;)

I just test out the new kernel, it seems much smoother and my AnTuTu Benchmark is higher than previous kernel or stock kernel. (using same setting).

Previous kernel only score 54xx, this new kernel I score 59xx. :D

I forgot that mine was the old DZKJ2 kernel. But I need the DZKL3 stock kernel. You have them? Wanna remove the pesky triangle XD

    UPDATE: There will not be any more updates for this Kernel.

    I present you all .. superatmos kernel. :)

    To verify the version of the superatmos kernel, check in CWM app. (From v3.3) :)

    How to flash:
    UNTIL v3.2
    1. Download the attachment.
    2. Flash using Odin.

    v3.3 and ABOVE:
    • Copy the zip to sdcard.
    • Flash it through CWM recovery.

    Please hit the thanks button if you like my work. It encourages me to do more. :)
    As of now, this kernel doesn't include OC/UV. It reduces stability. I may try this in future releases.

    This kernel is from samsung opensource. Its version too is 2.6.35.7. Its compatible with DZKJ2.
