dev i just love this MIUI. everything works perfect. a new makeover of phn. just one problem i m getting only one sim network icon. though second sim is working that sim is in roaming. any solution for that?

Data connection is not working with roaming SIM

I am unable to use data connection with roaming SIM. And there is no option to choose allow data in roaming kind of thing like in stock rom.

I am using Airtel for voice calls and CellOne for SMS and data connection.

Pls help

use gravity box. with this app you'll be able to on data roaming....

cant install applications!!!

hey man.....i just installed your rom and after installation,i cant install any application either from play store nor from sd card........i did a lot of snooping around and tried out almost every solution available but to no avail........when i try to install apps from play store,it shows error code "-110"
and when i try to install apps from sd card,it simply says that application is not installed......is there any solution for this??
i just don't want to change this rom....its interface is simply superb but i cant use my phone with just the inbuilt apps.......so guys,a solution would be much appreciated.

P.S my phone is detecting my sd card as phone storage and vice versa and because of this,the music player isnt detecting any songs.....any solutions??

i have installed this ROM , it is butter smooth, but iam afraid of a biggest threat in this ROM is message, because whenever iam receiving message it shows the name 'suresh' in the lock screen, is it a hack in message by the ROM developer, is the message is transmitted to someone when it is received. it shows that name for all the messages i receive.i kindly request you to investigate this problem or guide me how to solve this. i personally feel it may a threat to user of this ROM.
when this happens? whenever i receive message and in the screen lock when i try to swipe to message icon i can see that name, once i swiped i could not see that name in the message section,.

good and bad of this rom

According to me this rom has both the good and bad(bugs) things
BUGS:
1. A UNKNOWN NAME "SURESH" IS DISPLAYING WHENEVER SMS IS RECEIVED (ONLY IN THE LOCK SCREEN)
2. THERE IS WRONG COLOURING OF ENABLE AND DISABLING IN TOGGLES FOR EXAMPLE if i enable wi-fi it becomes orange indicates that Wi-fi is on but if i press data it becomes orange that makes disabling mobile network.
3. cant add group members in group from contacts it force closes and few force closes in phone and contacts.
4. can't select Indian cities in weather app
5.FM radio not working
6.backup app force closes
7. the big threat is the mobile net work automatically switching on for few minutes and disables it self that too only after night 11.45 pm ,in the day time it does not happen. (secretly i watched this for 3 times for 3 days)
GOOD:
butter smooth, cute looking of icons, transition effects good, clear voice and enough volume of sound,other things good.
WHAT I DID?
when i faced those problems i thought i might have not installed the rom properly and again i wiped everything as per the guidelines given in this thread and re installed 2nd time and also fixed permissions.
but without luck iam having the same bugs i mentioned above. to cross check problems i re installed another rom even though it looked ugly but not getting those problem i mentioned above and then only i came to conclusion that there is some mystery in this rom (it is according to me)
Request and appreciation:
i appreciate your work in this rom. but having mystery about messaging and mobile network auto switching on and off at particular time (may vary for others) and some force closes in phone and contacts i kindly request you to investigate and solve this issue.
Note: if i use hangout for messaging that name suresh is not displaying in the screen lock. so i strongly feel there may be problem in messaging app, it might have not been original MIUI messaging app.
