Doptrix

This is my first app for Android and I think it's really great!

Description:
This addictive puzzle game turns classic Tetris upside down and inside out! Rotate and flip the game board, think in many dimensions and challenge your brain, not the clock.

Sorry, I just discovered that Android Market still shows old version 1.6
So please use the apk from this post, or wait a little for the market version to update.

One of the users reported that it doesn't work, but didn't provide any details..

Cool game man. I like it. I don't have a xoom but I tested on my Asus transformer and it worked

I got confirmation from other users that the game works well on Xoom.
So I hope that was a problem with just one particular device.

Anyway, I made some tweaks and fixed some bugs and here is a slightly better version:

BTW, did I mention my game doesn't require any permissions to run?

New version 2.0 released!

Game now features Online Leaderboards - daily/weekly/monthly/all time.
You can choose global leaderboards or compete with your friends.

Another big addition - Virtual Shop, where you can buy game extensions. Currently available:
1. Two "extreme" grid sizes. 12x12 grid is for a long play and big scores. 6x6 grid is fast and furious, highly recommended!
2. Set of 10 new puzzles. As the first pack of puzzles was too hard, I made this one a little easier

Please note: none of free features were removed from the game, it is still 100% enjoyable for free and there are still no ads.

Doptrix updated to version 2.1
Download from the Market or from the first post in this thread.

Changes:

* Added Achievements!
* Added comprehensive in-game FAQ
* 20 new puzzles
* Fixed problem with saving of local scores and some other smaller bugs

Update is recommended if you are using online leaderboards.

Doptrix on Amazon AppStore!

Doptrix now is also available in the Amazon Appstore for Android!

I'm using a different model on Amazon - you can download main Doptrix app for free and you can buy Doptrix Unlocker app, which unlocks all grids and all puzzles.
Should I do the same on Android Market (instead of in-app purchases), what do you think?

Hey dop2010!

Fellow Aussie! Good to see some local apps

Just to let you know, this game works great on a Galaxy Note. I have only played a few rounds though, but so far great!

Could I make a suggestion that you make a prompt that asks if you really want to end the game if you hit the 'back' key? I have hit it by mistake several times

-- EDIT: After more play, I now realise the game auto saves if you hit the back key. Nice

Also, If I buy some of the 'in app purchaces' how does one keep these unlocked if I reflash the device in the future and do not have system root and a Titanium Backup of the app and data? Or, If I have two phones, it seems a little unfair that I would need to buy the content twice. Personally I don't get the in app purchace stuff, I like keeping legit access to my purchaces without needing to root.

Keep up the good work, let me know what you think of my comments.

You can restore your in-app puchases after re-installing the game, but I recommend you to wait a few days. I'm going to release a new version without in-app puchases. You could simply buy a small unlocker app from the Market that will upgrade Doptrix to full version.
I believe you'll be able to easily re-install it after reflashing your phone or install it on another device under the same google account.

Also a super-cool new game (Doptrix-2) is coming soon!

Any idea when? I've been addicted to the first for a while. It's great for short bursts of gaming. It's been quite some time since I last kept a game installed this long on my phone.

Version 2.3 on the Market!

1. Ten new free puzzles, new sounds and backgrounds!

2. Removed Virtual Shop. Now you can simply upgrade Doptrix to full version by purchasing Unlocker app from the Market. It's only $0.99 this March!

3. Added ads (sorry, had to do this). There are no ads in full version

4. Improved touch control on some phones and tablets

5. Other improvements and bug fixes

It is a really good game. I'm not usually into score based games but this one can be rather difficult, also the inclusion of puzzles and different sized boards really helps with the re-playability.

Hey guys,

Can anyone please help me with English translation in my new game (Doptrix-2)?

As you probably noticed, English is not my native language. So I'll really appreciate if someone could correct my grammar, suggest better wording, maybe rewrite some sentences. There isn't much text – short tutorial, short help on different game modes and description for the Market.

If you can help, please PM me your e-mail.
You'll be the first one to try the new game, I will also give you full versions of both games for free and will mention you in credits
