[ROM][HC3.2] PRIMEE-P9 David's MOD

HI,
I made some little modification to Dexter's new PRIMEE-P9 ROM included his latest patch 5a.
So all credits to him for this great ROM.

Features:
all the new 3.2 features included
Based on asus 8.6.5.6
2.6.36.4 kernel with CIFS/NFS/3G support, optional OC upto 1700Mhz
Enhanced exchange support
Faster Browser
resizable widgets
multilanguage (All major languages for europe also included)
enhanced task manager
filesystem tweaks
enhanced network driver (tethering enabled for Bluetooth / wifi / usb)
root + superuser included
DLNA support
3G huawei USB dongle support
Storage locations: /mnt/sdcard , /Removable/MicroSD , /Removable/Usbstick1 , /Removable/Usbstick2

Changes:
Removed :
Acer Sync, Asus Reader, Google Books, Layar, MyCloud, MyGazine, PC Sync, Google Videos, Zinio Reader.

Added :
Samsung eBook Reader, Samsung Memo, Samsung Photo Editor, Toshiba Media Player, Acer 3d Photo Viewver, Acer Need for Speed Shift, ES file manager (needed for Samsung ebook Reader), new boot animation, apn and host file.
In near future i try to add more stuff.

Instalation (required root):
Download AcerRecoveryInstaller from Market.
Boot into ClockWorkRecovery (POWER ON and VOL-) and do a full backup.
put ROM zip on your external sdcard and install using ClockWorkRecovery
NEW USERS of PRIMEE - do a factory reset (WIPE) in ClockWorkMod when installing for the first time.

Apply this patch to enable 3G support
3g-primee-huawei-patch2.zip

Low audio volume patch
audiopatch-primee.zip

Know Issues:
rotation lock key does not work (it serves no function in Asus firmware)
Installing netflix patch on this rom will for now cause video recording to crash, photo work fine. netflix patch is not working on honeycomb 3.2 roms for now

Kernel source used is based on the unity release

fixed market install problem for factory reset installed rom setup.
fixed sleep kernel issue
Removed annoying calibration window, that kept popping up all around (Asus bug, i read from users of asus tablet)
Acer3.1 stock avi support now (many xvid / avi files work now)
included ad-hoc wpa_supplicant fix
included "ro.carrier=wifi-only" fix (if you want 3G , use 3G patch)
Fixed dock remote control keys
XT9 Fixed
added new apps: CpuMaster(OC) and TotalCommander

Samsung vs Asus ereader app

What is the main difference between the two? The Samsung one was more buggy in my opinion. Where the bugs fixed?

look at changes, i just replace and add some stuff to it.
i have no problem with samsung reader.

I am using dexters primee rom 3.2 and it is very nice...

The only thing, did you fix the screen ripping while browsing?

My test site for browsing is always beforeitsnews.com as it seems quite heavy, and I use it a lot.

The browser in the galaxy rom was far smoother.

this is "fixed" olny in galaxy firmware, but Opera 11 browser is fine.

But I really like the original browser with its slide navigation

Surely it cant be firmware if it worked with galaxy rom?

I know it does say HC3.2,but i have'nt noticed anyone actually being on 3.2 firmware,at least i'm not,my iconia updated,but it still showed 3.1,soo the question is can i run this on 3.1?

I believe if you flash this rom, you will be in 3.2 wether you are currently on 3.1 or even 3.01....acer is currently still using 3.1, no 3.2 released yet but thi rom is based on Asus HC3.2...

yes this is HC 3.2 Asus base, you can flash it on every version firmware you have, just need CWM.

What exactly makes this different from Dexter's port? Also, I am assuming you asked if you could use his ROM right? I just want to make sure so nobody gets in trouble.
