3g fix
This was reposted by tropicalbrit elsewhere and thanks for that.
This worked for me after trying and giving up...
Here goes.
Be on a Sense Rom to do all of this.
Back up a nandroid backup. Download all the latest radios and make sure you use AmonRa to do everything. Put the radios on your sd card. Get the MSL reader from the Market and get your MSL number. Write it down, you will need it !.
Wipe your Dalvik and cache.
Flash radio - reboot
Flash WIMAX - reboot
Flash PRI - reboot
FLash NV - reboot
Using the Sense ROM update PRL. REBOOT again !
Get into dialer and enter ##3282# - go to edit.
Enter MSL number - data profile - hit the menu button and choose restore - Phone will reboot and go to defaults. When it says UPDATING PRL hit cancel.
Enter ##3282#, then enter MSL, got adavanced and change proxy ports to 0 and proxy addresses to 0.0.0.0 - hit menu and save changes. get to home screen and reboot.
Then do a full wipe at least a few times and install you new rom.
Thanks again to whoever came up with this. I can't take credit but it was the only thing that worked for me. I never had 3g until I did this. I takes time but it's worth it.
