OK this is my build folder the newest build will be the highest number if bootloops have been reported the builds will still be available (many devs find them useful) but the file name will reflect its bootloop status for users

I have tried flashing this twice. The first time from Apex 2 RC2 which bootlooped at the moto logo. I then SBF'd to 2.3.20 which booted past the moto logo to the cyanogen boot animation but it got stuck in a loop there as well. Has anyone had any luck getting this booted up? If so can you give me some advice as to what I'm doing incorrectly.

Jbird, while cvpcs is truly awesome you are still amazing man! Thanks for getting all of the D2 stuff up and moving!

@zibrah3ed Check the threads on rootzwiki that jbird listed in the first post. Stuff seems to be moving very fast for the Droid 2 over there.

I must have not updated the gps files ...
for now pull the gps.droid2.so from the gingerbread leak and pushed it into /system/lib/hw
and reboot that should fix

also massive changes to the build.prop still need to be merged as they are now for the droid x

...sorry I was in a hurry to build so we had SOMETHING to work with.

Known Problems?

Is there a list of known bugs/things that don't work?

Mostly for the purpose of seeing if any problems that come up should be reported of if they are already being looked into.

Gps is fixed for me in this build. Swype works now as well too. Still says cdma 64 instead of verizon. Awesome job getting the fixes out so soon.

Don't use bootstrap, use rom manager
Cm makes use of a second init process to hijack. Bootstrap messes with this and causes bootloops

If you installed via rom manager then try battery pull. Then from recovery wipe data and cache that should fix

i tried wiping the data and cache but im still in bootloop
(i used rom manager)

Awesome rom, jbirdvegas you sir are amazing and ofc credit to cvpcs as well without either of them cm7 on the droid 2 would not be possible, only major bug i see is with the physical keyboard, the numbers doent work fully, they seemed to have moved to the left, bt besides tht i dnt see any other bugs besides of course the cmda 64, which i kinda like lol

Yes, i did use the new rom and it did loop, and yes t did bootloop, what i did was battery pull, thn hold x nd boot it up nd thn a android icon with a triangle with an exclamation mark, thn release x nd press the search button nxt to the mic button. Thn wipe cache/data, i did both nd then click reboot, nd let it boot, and just wait a bit nd should boot up if nt do it again. And also one more bbug is that when you get a call or receive a call the person on the other side cannot hear anything you say, but you can hear what they say though.
