I have been really disappointed with AOSP builds over the last couple years. Even tho everything works, they rarely work as good as what shipped on the device. The camera is usually the biggest disappointment.
I agree 100% things are opposite of how they should be

Data, WiFi, calling, ir blaster all work, just sound and camera do not at all.

All sound except for call audio works camera is still broken. We will release once call audio works FYI.

Op: you have sources on Github already or not? I'm working on Z2 cm now and also having some issues. Maybe your device tree can help me a bit especially for the wifi part

Yes we do they are based on the unoffical cm tree
Cm, liquid and crom have plans only c rom has posted but they all have the same issues.
