Thank PurifyOs Team for releasing an unofficial Xposed for Nougat, the specific one I'm going to share is sdk 24 is for 7.0.x afaik most modules aren't compatible but I will link a separate thread the shows working and not working modules.
And if you are looking for Xposed and you are on the version 7.x.x then download sdk 25.

You need the new Xposed Installer

And you need the Sdk 24 Framework

*** DO NOT FORGET TO MAKE YOUR SELINUX PERMISSIVE ***
I use an init.d script to set the selinux on every boot...

Be careful remember this is still an unofficial beta, trying greenify I put my phone into a bootloop, so backup your phone with Flashfire...

I'm considering trying a build with Nougat, Root, and Xposed. @KillerClaw321 is that the process you took in getting it to work?

Why does the Xposed installer say it's AOSP and not TouchWiz?

So from MM, do I ODIN to stock 7.0 (latest version), then root, then install the Xposed package from above?

Yes correct, I recommend adding init.d support and then creating a script to set selinux to permissive.

How to add init.d support and do a script that sets selinux to permissive? Sorry for noob questions :\

Is there any downsides on having set selinux to permissive btw?

On MM I've used the "Universal Init.d" app to give Init.d support, then SELinuxModeChanger app to set permissive..

I'm not sure what the downsides of it would be though. I haven't read anywhere conclusively about it's effect on battery life or anything else...
