Sry, screw question 1. Just saw on the attached pic of yours that you have 3 partitions as well...
There are 2 partitions. The unformatted partition is a math error

I've success to load the WP7, but when I load the Android on SD card, the first Android screen is loaded, and then start to load the SD card, but then it freeze on this screen and I need to take out the battery to reset.
How can I successfully load my Android back????
i think not all Android builds are supported... what build were you using ?
If you have a small wp7 partition and transfer this to your larger sd card it should not affect anything as wp7 will boot from this partition and you will not need to reflash the wp7 rom.
If you have to re-create the partitions using the procedure above then yes, you will need to reflash wp7 and reconnect to live services as there is no know way to reduce and/or resize the wp7 sd partition.
BTW I have reconnected 4 times so far to live services and have had no problems.
Regards,
So if I have 2 sd cards(one for android and other for WM7), how do I load my android OS from my android SD card within WM7 ?
Thanks for the tut for dual booting. I got WP7 working good so far, however my attempts at loading Android from SD (specifically the build you mentioned in your post) is stuck on the htc loading screen.
I know you mentioned it takes long to load in your tutorial, but it's been a good 30 - 40 minutes on my second try now and it's still there. Is that the amount of time you had to wait for it to load? Or is it longer? Can you please let me know.
I didn't place it on the SD card in the "Android" folder - should I have done this? I placed it in there as "desire_z" and choose that directly for loading Android in MAGLDR.
Thanks again
P.S. I pm'd you too but thought it would be good to put this out in the open in case anybody else is experiencing the same problems
I also had issues with freezing and found it took long. I added a step that helped me with speed (see revised 1st post - New step 8a). Basically reformat the fat32 partition with 32 or 64 kb sectors while still in windows. I used 64 kb.
Each build has its own folder. I used desire_z as this was the instruction for this particular build.
Oh I see. I'll try that out and report back with my results. Did you see a considerable amount of improvement with this fix? And if you don't mind me asking how long does it take for you to load the build?
Thanks for the quick reply
I May Have Found A Way To Partition Using ONE CARD, Keeping The WP7 Data Intact, Activation Intact And Still Having The Ability To Run Android. Copying Over Files Right Now, About To Fully Test ... Will Report Back.
Time to install was about 15 minutes give or take a few. Speed and stability much enhanced by this.
BTW this was a trick used with sd android builds. The idea is that using 64kb sectors requires less trips than 16 or 32 kb sectors.
I may try some other builds later and will include in 1st post.
IF ANYONE HAS SUCCESS WITH OTHER BUILDS, PLEASE LET ME KNOW. THANKS

No, WP7 takes up the NAND space, and you can boot Android from SD with magldr. Cotulla is working on a SD version of WM65 though, so if he successfully creates that, we will be able to boot WP7 from NAND and WM65 and Android from SD.when it says you can run android and windows phone 7 off the memory card does that mean you can have windows 6.5 as well without the memory card
You have to use minitool partition manager to change your wp7 partition from logical to primary... then your android build will be able to mount your sd card successfully. I attached it for you.i did the partitioning successfully (8gb sandisk), but my android can only read the data.img (1gb) space as internal one & cant find the rest of the space as sd card (3gb) (it says there's no sd card inserted)

That's dope that there's these videos to help out people, but id like to see one showing how to do it with the alternate method with 1 card.. Mostly to see if peeps are even telling the truth saying its possible.. Like I said earlier, couldn't do it with that method, ended up having to do with two cards, 1 8gb card and 1 16gb for 8 per OS :[ (wanted majority for Zune music, but no dice)
