rooted with twrp and I am getting an update notification

I thought that a custom recovery disables updates.

What do I have to do to stop it from downloading.

I don't want to wake up to a locked boot loader.

Thanks bro worked like a charm. I tried titanium but the free version won't freeze apps. Renaming worked. Thanks again

Not a problem. If the OTA downloaded, make sure to delete the update.zip from /cache/fota. Also, manually checking for a software update will cause Settings to crash as a side effect of renaming or uninstalling "sdm 1.0"
