German guy in Google+ translated whats in the video:

HTC One (M8)
5" Display with 1920*1080 (Full HD) (441ppi)
Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 (QuadCore)
2GB RAM
16GB (& 32GB maybe not for Germany) flash storage
BoomSound
5MP camera "for selfies" (front)
Micro USB @ bottom
Headsetport @ bottom
Micro SD (up to 128GB)
IR-Blaster (plastic on top side + antennas)
4.1 "Ultrapixel" camera
2 MP camera for distance measuring
2 LED flash (cold & warm for more realistic colors)
Aluminum unibody
2 Colors dark "gray" and a brighter "silver"
Galaxy S5 feels cheap :p
Android 4.4.2 Kitkat
HTC Sense 6
Gesture display unlock:
Double tap/knock -> unlock
Up -> open last app
Right to left -> Homescreen
Left to right -> Blinkfeed

Focussing after the picture was taken (much light / no flash needed)
Kind of 3D effect for your pictures
Instagram like filters

Ultra Extreme power saving mode
5% Battery -> up to 15h

Pedometer built in
Plenty of design changes

Aw man, it looks like they're taking a page out of Samsung's book and using silly gimmicks to help sell devices. On the other hand, it worked for Samsung so...

Idk. I can't see myself using the refocus/3d tool on pictures I take. I don't really need that functionality - I'd prefer to have higher resolution photos. At first I thought I'd be fine cutting my MPs in half til someone on this board brought up the work schedule example where being able to zoom in was crucial to being able to read a snapshot of a schedule. I use my camera for stuff like that all the time.

I suppose I will withhold judgement til reviews start popping up with camera comparisons. Despite all this, there is one certainty in my mind: I absolutely will not buy a GS5.

Solid device. I do prefer the M7 look a little better with the chamfered edges vs the rounded of this one.

Agree completely!

Original HTC one is far more beautiful!
However additions are welcomed and this MIGHT be my next phone!

BTW to old HTC one owners (I mean old HTC One 2013 and not old owners :p), I have some questions:
-Does it have screen mirroring or miracast (sharing your whole screen in whatever software on your smart tv)?
-Does it have smartshare or whatever is called (sharing your photos/videos on your smart tv)?
-Call recorder that records both ways?

Another thing, I'm not a fan of the brushed metal back. In my opinion the black M7 is the best looking HTC one ever. This M8 is OK but definitely not better looking than the m7.

    Hey all

    Looking at this phone or Xperia Z2 for my next . .

    Also shows the 3D effect that can be added to photos but again Im sure that wont convince all to buy!
