You just saved me.
I've tried every possible solution but your's worked for me.
I had lost my lenovo a3300 hv 's imei when flashing official rom, but now its working fine.

I wonder that this method can change imei permanently or just temporary which means imei will be lost again whenever we factory reset or flash other roms. Anyone knows about this?!

Temporary, because many people have fixed their IMEI problem.

I have a bad imei huawei ascend g7 (from a company in Mexico) and i bought it imei unlocked, but that guy just reported as stolen...
So I have to put a new imei on it or someting.

nothing working in my htc desire 820s dual sim says no support in mobile uncle and mtk droid wont support and some other apps says ur device does not support mtk chipset somebody help
