If life hands you melons you are probably dylsexic.

Damn Rope nice job on the setup. I grabbed those themes and the Mason kernel, and this baby is like having a new phone again. I've never bothered with Go Launcher before but wow, my mistake. This is really nice haha.

I switched over from LPP to Go Launcher EX and I felt the same way. GO Launcher is one hell of a launcher! I really like the swipe gestures...which I use to jump back to my lock screen (a la WidgetLocker) from my homescreen.

Okay, just want to see if I am the only one with this issue. Using the Mason kernel, I have a slight delay when using anything that you can scroll in...this is using intellidemand, smartass V2...but not with interactiveX (I use this gov with SZ 2.2.1)...all using deadline as the I/O scheduler. I dropped using lulzactive, because it stayed pegged at the max freq...not good, lol.

Guys, is there a way I can set up my Google account? I can only set an exchange account.
Also, is there a way to install Spanish? And why the keyboard lags so much?

I've flashed back and forth to this ROM a few times and this time it borked my video camera. Camera works fine but video cam force closes. Any ideas other than reflash? I've tried different kernels as well

You are the first person I have ever known to have a cam issue with regard to this rom.

First time trying this ROM out and so far I like it. I am coming from MikG3.11.
Question: does anyone have the latest Sprint voice mail apk so I can get my saved messages on my sdcard? Does it work with this ROM? I tried updating the voice mail that came with the gapps and it won't update.

Check in the themes and apps section. If you already have VVM installed and it connected properly, you just need to install the updated APK over your current app. Also, FYI, on AOSP the VVM app will never update from the settings menu. You have to download and install the new APK each time.

I'm renting a new office for my business, and I've been using my cell for work for the past year and a half, which is becoming annoying at night and on the weekends when clients have no respect for personal time haha. If I set up a new number for google voice, will it be set up to my cell with a separate voicemail and everything? Is there anything that deciphers a call to my cell # vs a call to my google voice #? That would save me having to pay for a phone line and I can cancel the current voicemail number I've been paying for too.

Sorry this is off topic but you just made a lightbulb turn on in the old noggin haha.

Short answer... yes to most of that. You can get a free voicemailbox with a Google account and you can record custom greetings for groups in your contacts

    Hey all. Been a while since my last release of s3vo for the evo which was sense based, but I really wanted to start learning android and have a better perspective of it. I decided to dig a bit more into compiling android. Started horsing around with github and learned to start compiling my own builds from aosp wih the help from cmsrc, evervolv, and a few others githubs. Since the release of gingerbread to aosp, i moved away from sense. There are things that i do miss about sense, but the usability of the phone without it is just unmatched imho. Many people use or have used cyanogenmod. IMHO is a great open source project that has some of the best devs out there. I have always been more into the 'vanilla' look opposed to the themed and aftermarket. Recently i have been compiling gingerbread for the evo and mt4g and have had nothing but the best reviews. Basically the reason why i am here. Wondering if there was any interest in a few of my builds. Main reason from moving away from CM6/7 (cyanogenmod), ADW launcher and the extra added bloat and themes. Currently as i look at my phone, my battery stats have me at 31 hours and counting with 15% left. So battery life as you can tell was one of my main concerns. Everything works!!!

    1.3 build is based off 2.3.7. (Thanks cm team) and cm kernel 2.6.37.6 (thanks cm team). And YES it has Wimax AND HDMI Mirroring. (thanks teamwin)

    There is *nothing* that doesnt work anymore on 1.0. If an app that you are used to using from a 2.2/sense rom doesnt work, chances are that app hasnt been recompiled for gingerbread. Please bug the app author and not me :D

    New GPS drivers! A real GPS Fix!! :)

    NEW BETTER DRIVERS HERE. FOR BEST RESULTS FLASH THE "Qualcomm Vision GPS Driver v1.1" INSTEAD. THIS POST HAS BEEN LEFT HERE FOR REFERENCE PURPOSES

    ------------------------------------
    I've been playing around a bit with the GPS drivers... Anyone willing to try these drivers instead and report back if they work any better, especially if you are having GPS issues (locking, losing signal, etc)? They seem to be working very well for me, with no high cpu issues as well.

    What should be different from the standard drivers:
    * No need for workarounds for the majority of people (sense flash, etc...)
    * Stable and fast locks
    * Pick up more satellites
    * No wake locks / CPU usage issues

    These are files that you can flash through recovery:

    GPS_Supersonic_FIX_Flash - these are the fixed drivers, flash them through recovery (RA recovery only)
    GPS_Supersonic_Restore_Flash - these are the original drivers that come with CyanogenMod roms in case you want to revert back (RA recovery only)

    If you don't use RA recovery, flash the GPS_Supersonic_FIX_Flash2 file instead (compatible will all recoveries, uses an edify script)

    NOTE: Drivers are now part of Deck's 1.2 stable, but NOT 1.2.1. For 1.2.1 and all the other roms (like CM7 nightlies) the fix will need to be re-flashed every time the rom is updated.

    NOTE 2: No, there is no source code. This is a modified driver from the gingerbread leak for the HTC Vision.
