Hi all, new build of MaxiCM 5.1 is out!
Changelog:

  • --Device tree source update--
  • Update STE fixes
  • Fix video recording!
  • Remove Samsung blobs from vendor
  • Kernel: Add frandom module

    --MaxiCM source update--
  • Removed MaxiCM Performance Settings
  • Update to android-5.1.1_r34
  • Introduced more tweaks (Scroll and more)
  • Launch SuperSU from Settings
  • Fixed OTA Updater
  • Add Toast Animation
  • Add Headset icon
  • Optimization PngCrusher

@Epirex Thanks for the update, but I think the root access is not properly installed?

I checked with root checker apps and tried to enable built-in root from Developer options, the result was a failure, I didn't get root access, I also tried installing SuperSU from Google Play Store and from TWRP but it's still the same (failed).

Please help.

Yes, it happened to me on another lollipop rom and I solved it by flashing Supersu v2.46. I tried other versions which didn't work.

There is occasional lock screen freeze issue in the new build, how to solve it, please guide...

Temporary WiFI Fix

to get the wifi working bring the notification panal all the way down and keep on taping the wifi icon

    Installation:
    1. Download ROM, Gapps and SU
    2. Put the files on SDCard
    3. Reboot in recovery CWM
    4. Wipe data/factory reset
    5. Wipe cache partition
    6. Advanced->Wipe dalvik cache
    7. Install zip->choose zip from /storage/sdcard1
    8. Choose "MaxiCM-5.1-XXXXXXXX-janice.zip"
    9. Choose yes
    10. Repeat procedure to Gapps and SU
    11. Reboot system now

    About touch screen bug, I'm not sure what is the problem (I disabled SELinux to be sure) can confirm if the bug still exists?

    F2FS not works in system partition (I do not know why) but not is recommended have f2fs in system :)

    Really, don't request other users to use Lollipop for more attention
    It's my hobby, I constantly work for janice without asking anything in return
    if no update is because I don't see it necessary (You want updates without changes?)
