[ALPHA][ROM][6.0.1]UNOFFICIAL LineageOS for Lenovo Vibe K6/Power (karate)

LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 6, which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.

LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

Known issues:

• Camera
• Flash
• Mic (Works only with calls but can't use sound record)

Follow Instructions Carefully otherwise you will get error :

• Wipe cache, dalvic cache,system,data
• Reboot into recovery again
• Flash ROM-Flash Gapps
• Done-Reboot Now
• Enjoy the clean rom

On a FB group of K6, many users have installed this ROM sucessfully and nobody has said what should be my solution.

You probably have the TWRP Version by Sevenmaxs installed.

You need to go at http://karthick111.me/k6/twrp/
(With both the errors should not appear)
Download one of the Recovery images
Go into Recovery mode
Flash the new Recovery (Flash image > Choose img > Choose Recovery > Flash)
Reboot into Recovery
Do a Factory reset
Flash the ROM

Unlock Your Bootloader:
- Enable Developer options
- Activate OEM Unlock
- Go to your Computer and install the Lenovo K6 Drivers
- Download this tool: http://www53.zippyshare.com/v/YEqtJIa6/file.html
- Get your K6 into Fastboot mode
- Extract the Zip
- Open the application in the ZIP
- If successful

Flash TWRP:
- Download this zip: http://www53.zippyshare.com/v/RmmKsBbt/file.html
- Extract it
- Get your K6 into Fastboot mode
- Open the Application
- If successful

Flash new TWRP:
- Go to http://karthick111.me/k6/twrp/
- Download one of the Recovery images
- Turn your Smartphone off
- Hold Power and Volume Up until The Lenovo Logo appears the second time
- Click Recovery (if it does not start into the Recovery automatically)
- Click Install
- Click on flash images
- Choose the new recovery Image
- It asks for where to flash ( Choose Recovery (makes sense ))
- Continue by starting
- If finished, bo back to the main menu of TWRP
- Click Reboot
- Click Recovery (It loads the new installed recovery)
- Then Reboot to System

Flash ROM:
- Download LineageOS 14.1 here: http://karthick111.me/k6/lineage-14.1/
- Download gApps here: http.opengapps.org (choose Arm, Android 7.1 and then you can decide which variant)
- Boot into Recovery
- Go to Wipe => Advanced Wipe => Select Dalvik, Cache, Data, System
- Start wiping
- Then return to main menu
- Click Install
(- Click on flash zips)
- Go to LineageOS zip
- Flash
- If finished, flash gApps Zip
- Reboot to System

LineageOS should be Installed then and ready to use!

Shortcomings:
- Apps will be deleted
- Internal Storage also if you did not make an backup of it
(I haven't tried 14.1 yet, so I can't say anything about it, but in previous posts are some issuses listed)
