UV still not working even though I recompiled the module with smartreflex flag.
In /sys/power/sr_adjust_vsel the nominal v and calib v are being changed but the others stay still.

The overclock module just doesn't seem to have support for changing Optimus Black's voltages. Might be because of omap3630's smartreflex class 1.5 voltage recalibration.

Nova v5 will be released tonight.

Themes

The themes (WP7 and Gingerbread) that will be in NOVA v5 are already updated in Themes section. You can try them now and you can give me feedback in case something isn't good (in the proper thread, not here).

Power Menu for Recovery and Reboot, redesigned lockscreen (love the WP7 one), many fixes...

:)

What I know is that I'm getting 1-2% per hour with light/moderate usage with v5 which is great for Froyo (in Gingerbread battery will be much better).

It's a great news, but please notice that it seems like the battery its not well calibrated. I find my phone 'eating' battery from 100 to ca. 60%, then it's quite stable, then at about 20% it drops down very slowly! What I mean is that 1% is not always the same.

This is not true... latest Nova Recovery (CWM 4.x) can restore stock rom backups, but it's mandatory to format one partition (I don't remember which of them) to ext3 because for Nova it's formated with ext4.

Is this correct knzo?

Mmm ok, how can avoid this problem when i restore stock rom with NOVA Recovery?

I've got same error of this post

I'll include it on the sdcard for the next version.

That's not Nova's problem, it's your OB's.
There are some documentation around on how to calibrate battery, google!

I still having the same errors:
-FC com.android.phone every 10 seconds
-SIM Card is not detected. I've tried 3 different SIM cards all working correctly on other phones.

I'm from Chile and my company is Claro

asking question, how to change governor in Nova Script? are the manual included there (at running Nova Script)?

Just go to nova script and choose the option to change governor.
Or app inj setcpu and use it.

I still having the same errors:
-FC com.android.phone every 10 seconds
-SIM Card is not detected. I've tried 3 different SIM cards all working correctly on other phones.

Sorry to hear that. Use 2G only, didn't some chilean said it fixed the problem?

    ~~~
    A nova (plural novae) is a cataclysmic nuclear explosion caused by the accretion of hydrogen on to the surface of a white dwarf star, which ignites and starts nuclear fusion in a runaway manner. Novae are not to be confused with supernovae or luminous red novae.
    Nova (click it for trivia!) is a ROM for Optimus Black which aims to replace the stock ROM and give you what stock doesn't: minimalism and speed. Any LG and OEM trace has been reduced to a minimum and it has been significantly improved and optimized while keeping the most bugfree as possible. I hope you enjoy using it as much as I have coming up with it.
    Alert.png
    A wipe is required when first flashing Nova, however, unless otherwise stated, no wipe is needed to upgrade between versions.
    1. Download nova-xxx.zip to your sdcard storage on your OB
    2. [Optional] Check nova-xxx.zip's Md5 to check if your download copy is corrupted
    3. Boot into CWM Recovery through whatever method you choose (anreboot, terminal, ...)
    4. [First flash only] Use the volume keys and power button to select Wipe Data
    5. Select Install Zip from SD Card
    6. Find the nova-xxx.zip file you downloaded earlier
    7. Scroll through all the No's and hit Yes, install nova-xxx.zip
    8. Wait for the installation to finish
    9. Select Reboot
    10. After the long initial reboot, reboot a second time and you're all set
    Quick guidelines:
    - If UI is very slow after 2 minutes, reflash. If home button doesn't work, reflash.
    - Remember to reboot after the first long boot (applies some tweaks).
    - Check "known issues" and "FAQ" before posting.
    forward.png
    Q. I miss some stock applications, how can I have them back?
    tick.png
    A. Use Application Injector in Nova Script (terminal app > 'su' > 'nova')
    Q. I'm getting problems with superuser (root) and reboot doesn't fix it, help!
    A. Use this: http://www.multiupload.com/VRD7JFXLA2 - instructions inside.
    forward.png
    Q. It seems it's a bit laggy sometimes, what can I do to improve this?
    tick.png
    A. You might want to try disable BPO and d2u in misc options @ nova script to see if it solves your problem. Also keep in mind that if you have too low voltages for the frequencies, one of the most evident signs will be lag.
    forward.png
    Q. I'm having problems with market! Errors and what nots. Why?
    Ah y, nvm.
    Kernel will work with stock.
    An easy solution would be to include in the android system a button-pressed-check on startup (maybe the "G"-Button) and execute a reboot recovery from there (prior to "really" startup the system).
    So you would have a save recovery if the rom is "basically" working.
    Easier said than done but I'll look into it.
    It can't be in the system but it might be possible on the ramdisk.
