Another EAS enabled Oreo ROM exists, just not on XDA. Head over to G+ and look for a unicorn. (If you know what I mean)
And not a clean one? I knew and may try it soon. What I don't know is if they based the kernel/ROM on Render/Joshuous's work. I would assume so, but ... if they are stable? Maybe not as optimized as what joshuous is working on? At least we have something to compare with now.Another EAS enabled Oreo ROM exists, just not on XDA. Head over to G+ and look for a unicorn. i also wanted test how eas kernel is better, but i cant find some oreo rom used eas kernel, thanks your remind.Another EAS enabled Oreo ROM exists, just not on XDA. Head over to G+ and look for a unicorn. (If you know what I mean)

but i wondered since EAS kernel is better than others, why other dont merge it?
I've tested the xx unxion:laugh:, works well, especially when I play some games like pubg, the phone is cool and smooth than other un-EAS roms.Is it as optimized as Joshuous's work? I can't compare between Nougat and Oreo but my performance and battery life are satisfactory.
From what I've read, EAS is amazing but only if the OEM optimizes it properly. As far as I know, only the Pixels really benefit from the technology. EAS on the OP3 is never going to be as efficient as those devices because it was ported to the device.
Totally not true. There is nothing Pixel or Google specific about EAS. It's been in the linux kernel awhile and was developed partitally by ARM. We're just as ARM as anyone and joshuous's work on the OnePlus 3/T is probably every bit as good as Google's on the Pixel. In this case, joshuous and render are the OEMS and they've optimized it properly ?From what I've read, EAS is amazing but only if the OEM optimizes it properly. it's really a good news, how to test i wanna be a volunteerHey all, I'm not dead yet
Here's a sneak peek of my EAS port to the OP3 kernel (currently OOS only). I've been backporting directly from the 4.4 kernel version, meaning that I can bring much of the goodies from our OP5 EAS kernel to the OP3. For now VertexOS is on hold due to limited time, some bugs causing major obstacles in development, and Google taking down my Google Cloud Server trials (building ROMs will now be incredibly challenging for me without a new server or desktop). I'll figure that out someday, but for now stay tuned for a new thread dedicated to the OP3 EAS kernel release when I feel it is ready for release. Testers have been enjoying it for the past week. Will close this thread in a while.

more battery life more performance.
sorry,i can't but you can search it "dirtyunicorn"

Very sad to hear the thread is closing. Thank you for releasing the work to the community. I'm sure we all value all you've done to make EAS a reality (rather than a theory) on our devicesHey all, I'm not dead yet
