Try other contact apps like go contacts. or use google sync and then through gmail. With you, Asked CM Team to add this feature in CM9. My Idea is that just like Gmail, Press and hold any one contact will open the tools bar at bottom just like Gmail and them you have option to delete, merge, SMS, Add to favorites ,etc. Please support it!

Nevermind, don't think you'll understand. I won't keep hopes high for getting solution for this too after I got process system not responding and app not responding errors since Septmber 2011 and haven't got solution yet. Believe me i literally tried everything to solve those errors (that includes corrupting my IMEI :().

Try Froyo Samsung rom. First wipe/format the whole system, data, sd-ext, etc. and then flash froyo. If it works, then OK. After that try a custom ROM. If thais problem does not occur with those, then its problem with either the odin file or other problem. Try other GB roms too.

That problems started after flashing my first custom ROM which was Kryillos ROM.

Yes, I have flashed stock ROM with bootloaders too. Let's put in straight way. If you can then try to think of another methods than flashing because I keep flashing new ROM each day just to see if the problem still persists. So yeah flashing won't help.

I don't know there, but in Mumbai, they are not trained as in US.
I recently bought a Samsung Galaxy Ace Plus, It had a problem of Shutdown's.
I don't want to root it, actually there is still no method for it, I think so.
They just tried a reset from settings. They at first didn't know what phone was it, calling it Galaxy Y. I told them what to do, keeping it Under warranty :)

To @friend863 : So you get ANR after flashing the first custom ROM. You have bootloader and stock ROM flashed, Take your Samsung Galaxy 3/Apollo to a good Samsung / Authorized repair store.
Actually at many places they do not check the ROM, I once took my Apollo with CM7 GB ROM installed, just for fun and told Camera didn't worked. They did some checks, and then told that that there is some corrupted file in core and as the phone was old and therefore out of warrenty, told for a Rs. 150 would send it to Samsung and repair it! I said No, but it was fun!

I want to share 1 problem of my friend. He had cm7.2 alpha8.1a installed on his phone. Everything worked. Than he transfered his number from 1 network to another, and decoded(unlocked) phone to all numbers. After that he couldnt use phone for sms. Calls were working, but when he send sms, signal drops and he could just restart phone to get signal back. Whats the deal? He switched his number from tele2 network to tomato network. Also, when i flashed him a froyo, everything is working. Only on cm7 is not working. Any idea?

i also get random signal drops :/ my phone would work fine then id have no signal, id reboot and id have full signal :S it hasnt happened since i changed to hillbeasts kernel a week ago so that might be it.

I can't enable bluetooth anymore. Already tried wiping cache, rebooting a few times, nothing works. The icon in the slide-menu always stays semi-highlighted

Is a full reset the only option? :/

    Not 1-2 weeks but 3-4 months... but you know, it's not easy to immigrate in a new country so I'm very busy to prepare my family and myself for the move.

    Some news about Alpha9 :
    - Camera : you can now use a barcode reader or any app that requires camera. It should work.
    - Video recording is working with some restrictions : not using hardware codec but software. Audio is not recorded but may be fixed soon.
