UI is bit laggy :(

Its laggy cuz it is not iOS!! If you want no lag on UI, then you havr to quit camera!!(it needs ICS as base)

why deodex? deodexing increases boot time and slows down apps

loving it so far, glad that you kept this project going further from kssood :D
and on a side note,
nothing personal, but people who comment to tell "Wrong section, WTF is this?, this is like that ROM etc.."

either GTFO off the topic instead of spamming the first few pages with discouraging posts or try using an awesome XDA feature called "Private Messaging" to talk to the OP.. :mad:

I honestly don't know, I never used another kernel but rom's default. But I think if said kernel is compatible with CyanogenMod latest nightly it will be compatible with this rom. You could try it. :)

I am starting to love it, only downside at my end is faster battery drain phone didn't enter deep sleep. Rebooted, lets see if there is improvement.
Anyways great work!

Same here..flashed FKv4 lets see...anyways @OP a suggestion can u make the label 'Notifications' to move little left so that the whole word get accumulated in the space without leaving 's' in bottom.& can the switches arranged according to preference?
Few things i noticed:
1.Some apps does not get installed like load runner,mx player codec..
2.Scrolling in settings is little slow or jerky.
3.Battery drain with default kernel.
4.Market FC's(may be only with me :()

Report later if see something ;)

Can it really be related to default kernel? Its Cyanogenmod's kernel.
Market works fine here.

Anyways after reboot, no more wakelocks!

    Hey guys,

    So kssood made a topic some time ago regarding JoyOS, it's a nice rom and some users, including me liked it, but unfortunately he stopped posting updates so I decided to update it for our phones by myself as soon as JoyOS team updated it for Huawei C8650 (which is also a MDPI phone!) so I created this topic.

    Features
    - iOS inteface (leave now in case you don't like it :p);
    - Good performance and good battery life;
    - Based on latest CyanogenMod nightly for our phone;
    - Everything that works on CyanogenMod works here (apparently);
    - Can be definitely used as daily ROM.

    Downloads
    Version 1.1.7
    Version 1.1.8
    Version 1.1.9

    Changelog
    Code:
    Version 1.1.7:
    - Music player automatically downloads lyrics now;
    - You can now set a lockscreen background (on Settings/Display/Lockscreen background);
    - Sony Bravia Engine (not sure if it's working on our phones though);
    - Terminal emulator and SIM toolkit were removed (who used that anyway?);
    - Status bar battery icon was fixed;
    - Some other stuff.

    Version 1.1.8:
    - Notes app added;
    - New notifications style (can be switched on/off on Settings/Display/Notification roll);
    - Lyrics download function was improved once again (although I didn't see any change);
    - Based on latest CyanogenMod nightlies.

    Version 1.1.9:
    - New file manager;
    - Custom ringtones chooser;
    - Different status bar animation when a notification appears (it kind of shrinks now);
    - Number of displayed contacts on contacts app has increased;
    - Option to delete multiple contacts at once;
    - Option to add songs to an existing playlist;
    - You can now show the battery percentage at the left of the battery icon;
    - Option to show operator name at the right of the signal bars;
    - Lots of other tweaks.

    Extras
    iLauncher (Free|Paid)
    Espier Launcher
    Espier Browser
    Deodexing Tutorial

    If you have any more iOSish things just let me know and I might post here.

    Credits
    kssood - Originally ported JoyOS to our devices (topic)
    CyanogenMod team - This rom is based on their amazing rom
    JoyOS team - Made all the work behind this
    Yisheng and rihanna_boy - For helping me get the latest version

    And I do not, in any circumstance want to take credits for this rom. All I did here was porting.

    This rom is for NEW BASEBAND ONLY and is only available in English and Chinese.

    And yes, I'm aware that file manager crashes when you press that botton on the top right corner of the screen.
