I have pa 4.2.2 and use this just fine
Paranoid 3+ nexus 7 w/m-kernel a37
Well, as Midledz said, V3Beta4 will work on 4.2.2 ROMs, but it doesn't have the A2DP bluetooth fix, and it is still based on the old 4.2.1 code base. I think I'll wait for next version for 4.2.2.

The code is a little sketchy but I would like to throw up another build tonight for testing. It's been in use by the Gnexus group to test it's stability

First off, thank you to the developer. I have used this mod since I got my Nexus 7 in December. And while I used the MoDaCo ROM, it worked perfectly. However this week I changed ROMs to SmoothRom (4.2.2) and I am now having some trouble. Although I installed the mod in a fresh install and confirmed that some of the Noozxoide settings do affect the sound when playing music, I do not hear any difference when using Hulu +.
Has anyone had this issue or can tell what could be happening? I thought that the media stream is for both music and video equally so it makes no sense to me that one would be affected by the mod but not the other.
Thank you.
Just installed this and must say wow what a difference it makes listening to music on my ultimate ears. I did have one problem when first using it on the Google music the sound was weird until I noticed that fx was still enabled lol. Great job I must say.

I thought I'd try this (v3b4) on my N7000 and it flashed fine. Seems louder. No complaints here...
Will flash it to my nexus when I root it. Nice work

surprised it actually worked with out any issues. But be careful with the media codecs if you get an error on YouTube watching videos then that's the start of the issue considering the media codecs are based off tegra
How about the configuration from the first page?

Which is exactly why I said if you had configured it properly. Also what are you using to test it? What player? What method, speaker or headphones? I can't help you if you aren't specific, no offense but I have provided the information as detailed as possible so it's only fair if you have a debug issue that you give me the fair amount of details.

As much as I like giving the option to people on DSP and how they chose to listen to their choice of music, I did a poll over the N7 side, and collected all the data here, and about 70% don't use DSP but only 30% do. So inorder to satisfy both sides, I decided to integrate proper XLouder+Beats that work perfectly without issues, this would highly benefit the audiophiles and those who complain about bass and it's distortion. On another note I have tried my best to retain the loudness infact this build has a whooping 5% loudness, 7% with HTC enabled. And all this is safe.
Word to the wise when using Noozy do not max Psychoacoustic II, as the bass works best on 20-40% [And I repeat for this to work, Please invest on Class A/B/C Bass headphones, Also, Beats..Is class C :|, Most of you might think Beats was Class B or A but it's not. I've tested out this so called 5.1 Surround Sound and Razer Electa $60 headphones can output that and Beats can't] Just my 2 cents. Don't shoot the messenger LOL.
Noozy was the ULTIMATE choice as this cleared the headache of choosing which side do I lean on and which side would I end up screwing over. Bass+Loudness vs those who like baubly neat interfaces, and earlier today a friend of mine linked me Noozy and I tested it out and I was shocked as to how it abused EVERYTHING properly, This player was recommended to most HTC Beats Users but after enabling it on our build.prop it works just the same, Amazing, Crisp, Clean, Flawless! and the album artwork is GORGEOUS! Please do not forget to enable the options in Settings shown below to get the best feel of it. Also Lockscreen Controls are glitchy, but I'm sure the developer would work on a way to fix this.
