If you want better battery you can try using the backlight fix kernel for cm7 which also brings better battery backup

Just tried this rom because of appearance. Miui [gb] with iphone theme is more similar to iOS than this ROM. it is very laggy and battery drain is big. Anyway thanks for ur efforts

please update this rom it is working almost perfect with a psudo looping i9003..thank you so much now i can use my phone. except for messaging..

    Hi guys, I ported JoyOS to our i9003. Don't know what JoyOS is?
    It's android with many changes to it to look like iOS. Launcher has been changed,
    many system applications have been changed with great iOS lookalikes.
    It is currently CM7 based. I'm working on a new port based on CM9 currently :).

    Installation Instructions
    Code: 
    1. Be on any GB rom
2. Place JoyOS Galaxy SL i9003.zip on root of sdcard
3. Go into recovery
4. Select option "Install zip from sdcard"
5. Select JoyOS Galaxy SL i9003.zip
6. JoyOS will install, have fun :D

    Status update :)

    UPDATE:
    Okay guys I was working on the CM9 port today, I've implemented OTA updates system, changed bootanimation and added the iOS ringtones + sms sound, but for some reason the JoyOS apps aren't installing alongside the other system apps. I'll figure it out, but for today im done :)

    Pratik that's what I was thinking, I can port the launchers and the apks from JoyOS to CM9 and include a iOS theme for CM9 as well. With this weird overheating issue I don't think anyone would want to use this ROM. Thanks for your suggestion, Pratik. I'm going to start porting to CM9 right away :good: I would thank you right now but im out of thanks for this day xD

    U can add joyOs apps in data/app folder in the root and configure the script to extract them
    I would add espier launcher to MIUI V4 (basing this one in Alpha11 from dhiru)
