Ok, so the speaker thing works 4/5 times that you make a call. Which is good but not perfect. IMO you ave to do it quickly at the beginning of the call and keep changing the volume to see if it changes. If it doesnt keep trying.

So far the speaker trick hasn't failed me yet and I've made approx. 10-15 outgoing calls. Several of those times I noticed the headset speaker volume wasn't changing so hit the speaker button twice, then it worked for that call.
I've been able to use this rom as my daily driver for the last couple of days...so, so far pretty happy. I plan on sticking w/ this until nexus sense 4.0 becomes stable.

Ur pretty lucky cuz i had an important call to make today and the first call failed even tho i did the microphone trick he would hang up on me after saying "hello?" For like 5times lol, the 2nd and 3rd times failed too so i never got to call him.

I'm using nexus sense 2.1 v.1.3 and the T144 trinity kernel that appears on the first page of this thread, not nexus sense version 1.4. I had never tried v1.3 previously, until a few days ago, so maybe the speaker trick works better on v1.3

well microphone problem occurred twice yesterday, two times in a row...so I guess there is no solution. changed rom's again, now using cm7:mad:

Im still running this ROM i just cant leave it for some reason. ICS is dull anyone recommend another ROM except MIUI. I hate apple and dont want to deal with their ui either. Thanks :D

Going to try nexus sense 2.1 AGAIN, I just love this rom also, always seem to go back to it...it would be perfect if the call out issue could be resolved.

4rth: how often has the call-out issue been happening since you've been using nexus sense lately???

Well i really dont make phone calls so. But it hasnt happened to me lately. Im running ICS since yesterday not going back to sense, since im gonna get an evo off craigslist. :p

hey,i installed lock screen addon on my htc hd2 and when i install it i didnt get sense 3 lockscreen i got stock android 2.2 lockscreen.... why??

    **You don't need to wipe, but if issues occur its your fault. I always recommend wiping before installing any rom**
    -Fixed lockscreen "no service" bug
    -Hopefully fixed call out microphone issue ( I tested about 20 calls, all worked )
    -Added support for huge amount of languages
    -Added stock gingerbread keyboard as input option
    -Added option to enable/disable screen on/off animation through settings > display
    -Some small build prop edits, increased vm heap to 72 for smoothness in apps (to test it out, reduce it if you feel like it.)
    -Added in some missing framework parts
    -Added files to allow for more mods in the future
    -The rom feels much faster and fluid than first release

    I dont stress myself, I do all this porting as fun ;) nobody else is doing these kinda ports, and I dont plan on having the nexus for forever, so why not get as much work out as possible? I honestly dont care how working they are, I do my porting for myself because I like to mess with phones. Me sharing a bunch of almost functional roms is better than having none at all :)

    Next time you look at my half functional ports and wonder why I release them, just look down at your nexus and think about how boring it would be if all you could flash was aosp. Having variety is awesome, I would die if all I had was aosp. These are just phones.

    My roms are kinda like hackintosh on pc. If you want the real thing, you go buy a mac. Hackintosh is there just because. No real point. Not everything works. You install it because you can. You dont have to flash my roms, they are here for those times when you want to break outside the aosp barrier, or show your friends sense on your nexus just because you can ;)
