CyanogenMod is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 4.4 (KitKat), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.

Code:
#include
/*
* Your warranty is now void.
*
* I am not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards,
* thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please
* do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM
* before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if
* you point the finger at me for messing up your device, I will laugh at you.
*/

CyanogenMod is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. You will need to provide your own Google Applications package (gapps). CyanogenMod does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

Installation:
1. Download ROM zip and GApps zip.
2. Boot into recovery.
3. Wipe data and cache.
4. Flash ROM zip.
5. Flash GApps zip. You must flash gapps after every upgrade to CM11 since /system is formatted, wiping your previous add-ons.
6. Reboot.

ROM:
You can find weekly CM11 builds for Xperia Go here
You can find stable CM11 builds for Xperia Go here

my initial findings -
great, lean gapps - love the minimal approach - keep it up!
Rom is 4.4.3 - awesome!
running RAM on base install looks good - 217MB used, 176MB free

tested Sound Recorder app, when I change the file type to WAV format, and try to record, this message pops up - "Unfortunately, Sound Recorder has stopped." Then when I go to file manager, I see a lot of these WAV files created with 0 bytes. Maybe other testers can confirm this bug.

Edit:
changed build.prop line from "ro.config.low_ram=true" to "ro.config.low_ram=false" for transparent statusbar

got always error "setup assistend stopped", cant boot to homescreen

How do I replicate that error? I did not have that when I was installing. This is what I did -

1. Download the ROM
2. Extract boot.img and flash it
3. Copy the ROM to your SD Card
4. Boot into recovery
5. Wipe data, cache, dalvik cache, and system
6. Install the ROM
7. Manually mount /system
8. Install Gapps zip
9. Wipe dalvik
10. Reboot

    Stable 2 - Based on Milestone 10

    Hi dear users!

Sorry for not having released stable build based on M9 for your device, but I didn't have time, however here I am to bring you another stable release :)

There are an important change besides CyanogenMod changes, builds are not odexed anymore, but it still uses user variant to not include some debugging tools.

As usual, if you find an unknown bug, attach all possible details and logs to help us to fix that bug.

You can open OpenDelta Updater to update your ROM or you can perform a manual install, here we provide the download link:
    CyanogenMod 11.0 Stable 2 - Based on M10 for lotus - 217MB (MD5: 1997acb0d14e94eb2e96de8a3acb19dc)

And here you have the folder where future builds and respective will be uploaded, you can use GApps posted at OP.

    Happy flashing! :victory:

    Stable 1 for Xperia Go

    Hi dear users!

We are proud to release a new different build from previous builds, a stable build for Xperia Go :D

A quick FAQ for those common questions you will ask:

Why do you call it stable?
We call it stable because it is built from stable branch of CyanogenMod 11.0. In these builds, CyanogenMod Team try to fix many bugs that nightlies have, these builds are called milestones (for example M8 refers to Milestone 8 not to the device from the makers of humongous tinfoil catamarans).

Settings is crashing – what can I do?
Clear the data for the Settings app – this can be accessed via the recents menu (long press the Settings multitask item). This is happening to you because the last build of CyanogenMod 11.0 had a version of Settings database higher than that of the M release – and downgrades of database versions are not allowed in Android.

Apart of different branch used, which are the differences between these builds and weekly builds?
These builds are built without JustArchi's optimizations, instead of that we use just O2 optimizations and O3 optimizations in less code.
Also, stable builds type is user instead of userdebug, this means that apps are odexed and there are fewer debug tools.

CM SUCKS AND BROKE ALL THE THINGS!
Thank you for your valuable feedback, but 90% of the bugs you may find apart from A2DP on calls, FM radio and black screen watching streaming videos are a problem of CyanogenMod Team so please direct your bug report to the CyanogenMod JIRA instance with a log so CM can suck less.

So after you have read quick FAQs, you're ready to download the ROM, future updates of stable builds will be accessible via OpenDelta :good:
