[Q] Recover Storage Space by just Root ?

Hello there !

I have just bought a 16GB LG-G2 phone and found that I can only use 10GB in SD Card !
I am wondering if it is possible to simply rooting (no custom ROMs) the device and installing some tweaks (Xposed ??)
can we gain more storage space ?

You won't get much if at all, because 16GB formatted capacity is around 14.5GB out of which some space is reserved for various partitions such as the ROM itself and data, cache, etc.

Unless you want to screw around with partition sizes, you won't get much.
