So i cant get rid of the soft keys... Cant enable them to open close menu even though its set to... Cant controll my performance... Its a nice rom, just not my type i guess :(

To enter performance create a shortcut on your homescreen. Saw that fix here: http://xdaforums.com/showpost.php?p=37769441&postcount=4
To remove soft keys push PA Prefs(3.0 works) then go to interface and set the Nav Bar from 100% to 0%. You should be in Phone mode when doing this. Let me know if you have any more issues. Cause the two you listed are not a problem.

In doing this I'll be able to set recent apps-->menu, and long press menu---> recent apps?

Setting it in tablet ui in paranoid settings makes the hardware keys appear in the system pane. After you change them you can go back to phone ui if you want

Some of the settings i choose in paranoid preferences are not sticking... Not sure why. I just want the FULL status bar at the bottom.. And my lockscreen normal size lol

Try doing this. Go to hybrid settings, scroll to the left, then interface and hit reset. Then change workspace to tablet mode and change the user interface size to your liking. I set mine to 190. Make sure Nav bar size is 100 and lockscreen size to 320. Should have statusbar on the bottom and normal size lockscreen.

Anyone having an issue getting conversations on Google Talk appearing in portrait mode and if so do you know how to fix it? For some odd reason I can't see any of the conversations on portrait mode, appears fine in landscape though. Thanks in advance!

Change the DPI for gtalk to 185-215 in PA Preferences/Hybrid Properties. We'll get the config set right in the next build.

Thanks! Works great. Definitely one of the smoothest roms out there right now! Is there anyway to get the ram bar showing in the recent apps screen too? I enabled it in the Rom control settings but doesn't show up. Thanks!

Does anyone have a link to the paranoid preferences apk? I'm too lazy to download the full ROM....

Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk HD

No need to download the fulll rom. If you click the big download button in the OP and scroll down it has the apk there for you. Download it, put it in /system/apps, set your permissions and reboot and you're good to go.

I have no idea why this isn't getting any love. I've have been using it basically since it was released and love it.

I do have to turn HW Overlays on to remove the graphical tearing, no big deal. Will likely be fixed in the next release I imagine if it is gonna be 4.2.2. AOKP CM and AOSPA and 4.2.2 now, but who know if it'll build correct.

I love the AOSPA per-app color and all the settings. Check out this link for some ideas: Per-app-color Screenshots(30)

Thanks for the awesome ROM.

How is 1080p video meant to be broken in this ROM? Seems to work fine for me!

Great ROM by the way - my first foray into 4.2 coming from CM10 stable and I am very, very impressed with this. Doesn't appear to have any of the problems the CM10 thread lists!

Everything to make this my daily driver are working correctly.

The only issue I have is when GPS turns on it kills my cell signal and GPS shuts off. If I let the phone sit both will eventually come back in a couple minutes but it will happen again if I am using GPS navigation.

I was just curious if this was a common problem with the Rom.

Same here! This is my first custom ROM I installed after I rooted & unlocked my 1.85 bootloader. I'm definitely not looking back. As soon as I can figure out how to remove my navigation keys I'm good to go.

Only gripe I have is ROM control keeps FC along with Chrome when I go to settings. I've tried to Fix permissions, wipe dalvik & normal cache but no dice.. hmm I've got some more reading & troubleshooting to do.

Other than those two things I'm loving this ROM.

How's everyone's battery life coming along?

    Re: [ROM][4.2.1]PACman Ver 19.9[LOTK][2-9-13]

jamieg71, have you thought about doing a refresh on this? atleast to kick out the bugs to make it a good daily driver?

Sure man, I just updated the jewel to PAC version 22.0.1 android 4.2.2. I wasn't sure if the demand was here for it. I haven't had many downloads on the Evita. But I'll get you guys a build this week no problem. PAC has come a long way since version 19 you guys will enjoy it.

Any word on updates to fix the random reboots? I've had more random reboots since I installed this rom last night than I did in the two months I used the previous version? I assume it's related to the updated 3.4 kernel but I am unsure. I am using 7/1 nightly.

I am also having connection problems. After each reboot I have to toggle the data off and then back on again. These problems are almost making this rom not a daily driver anymore but more of a WIP. If I had older version of this rom still I would switch back but I do not.

Check my dev-host under pac/evita... You may have to do some digging but all my previous builds for this device are still there. I certainly would not consider PACman rom a WIP it's pretty spot on at this point. Occasionally with major new features or changes there will be hiccups. But they always get resolved in a timely fashion. For this device as well as the jewel, the current hiccup is kernel related and all device/kernel specific source is pulled from CM.

    If you guys track Github/CyanogenMod/android_kernel_htc_msm8960
    revision cm-10.1
And look for new commits reverting to 3.4.10 or a commit from Kushdeck that should mean the low-memory reboots have been resolved, also MHL, GPS fix ups and some audio things it looks like.
Once the fixes have been committed, PAC Nightlies will reflect the changes in that nights build.

Hey guys sorry for the long hiatus. I started a new job and have very limited time for development. I do plan to update PAC to the latest either this or next weekend. After that, I most likely will no longer be developing publicly at all. Hopefully someone steps up and takes over as your maintainer.
If anyone is interested in doing so, hit me up by pm and I'll get with the PAC team and get you set up as the official maintainer, as well as lend a hand if needed.
Just so you know, I appreciate the heck out of all the kind words and positive feedback I have received here on the One X. You guys are great.
