A Flashable Zip to Update Vendor, Bootloader & Radio

What is this?
These are essentially Google's OTA images with the system and kernel files removed for use with custom ROMs.

What is the purpose?
The purpose of this zip is to easily update your vendor, bootloader, and radio to match the latest monthly security update release.
You only need to flash this if you are getting a Vendor/Build mismatch after updating your ROM.
Note
ONLY flash the zip that matches your ROM build.
If you get a Vendor/Build mismatch AFTER flashing it you have flashed the wrong vendor image. Find the vendor image that matches your ROM build.
Installation Instructions
1. Update/Flash your ROM with latest monthly security update.
2. Flash this zip using TWRP.

Tested and working with LineageOS & TWRP

Hi OP,
Thanks for the initiative, it makes it easier to be updated with the latest.
Right after I get a mirror to download it fails to start. So I couldn't get to the file itself although I, be seen it's been downloaded many times already. What am I doing wrong?

Edit I had a header duplicate with chrome preventing me to download from AFH, Thank you OP for the file, Regards.

Cannot download After selecting mirror

Unable to download May update. download link not working . Help

Try different browser like firefox.. hit thanks if that helps you

Chrome seems to be having an issue with AFH. Try to download using Firefox or another browser.

a different browser on a PC does work, but same trick does not work on the Phone.
the underlying issue is the comma in the file name, i hope the OP can avoid commas in the future.

thank you ramdyc for the useful post.

On the 6P you need to turn off your lock screen security before wiping and flashing a new ROM. Try removing lock screen security then rebooting. If that doesn't fix it then the only other way I know of is to flash the factory image through fastboot. Doing this will wipe everything so make sure you have your stuff backed up!

If you were simply updating ABC ROM then I'm not quite sure what might have gone wrong.

If you're using my zip you shouldn't need to be manually flashing vendor images with fastboot but to solve your problem, you're missing the word "vendor" in your command. This tells fastboot what partition on your phone (the vendor partition) to flash the vendor image to.

The command should be:
Code:
sudo fastboot flash [B]vendor[/B] vendor-angler-OPM6.171019.030.E1.img
