How to export a preset

Create your great skin
Press "export preset" in the main menu
Go in your SD card under "Kustom/Wallpapers"
Share the "klwp.zip" file as it is

How to import a preset

Copy the "klwp.zip" file as it is in the SD card under "Kustom/Wallpapers"
Open the app and select "Load Preset -> SD Card"

Hi.

Love the idea of this app. But I am not to sure if it will do what I want.

Is it possible to use this app, with\without clock and rest off over layer parts and be able to use custom "images" more then 5 lets say ass your background (cycle every 30 minutes or so?)

You can basically do anything, so, right now you can not use a formula in the background image but only on images added on top of the root, check this tutorial for a small example on how to add an image that switches between day / night:

As soon as it will be possible to use a formula for the background image too all you will have to do is to put your logic there, so you can, i dont know, download a 500px image every 2 hours or update a webcam or cycle through images on your SD card or whatever you like.

Thank you for the info! And i would love to ask on G+ but i am restricted at work of using any social sites!

realistic clock hand shadows

If any one wishes to know how to create realistic shadows for clock hands, i have attached a simple kustom lwp file for you to disect, pay special attention to the 1st single overlap layers that make up the shadows as they contain the padding which offsets the shadows(this is the padding that depicts where your light source is coming from).. i would try to write a tutorial but it i'm rubbish at it and it would just confuse you:silly:
you can also create an offset shadow on the clock hand directly by using a formula on the direction, but imo its not so realistic, because when the hands pass over each other the shadows give the illusion that the hands are stacked quite a way apart on the centre point (sorry , hard to explain what i mean).
the way i have done it in the zip all the shadows are behind the hands, giving the illusion that the hands are very close together on the stack....
