opensource. samsung. com (sorry about the link.. Cannot post links yet ^^) hosts the complete android source code for the SHW-M100S-phone, included a modem driver. But for the TI Omap3.. I think it is useless for the S8500 port.. :S

I wonder will samsung ever realize what HTC have and release hardware that doesn't have components that are almost completely unique to that device. If you had one platform for a family of phones with different clock speeds and little bits and bobs (such as camera flash or NFC screen size and type etc) then the cost of manufacturing would decrease dramatically and we would be able to port what ever the hell we wanted to any device based on the one hardware reference. Lets face it, the way samsung operates is appalling. Nothing is vertically integrated and they can't update their software in a timely fashion.

It seems nowhere to be found on the internet.. Spend the last night googling for it, only that shows up is service manual with the crappy tiny schematics... Found full schematics for about everything except the wave :S. I guess it's not possible to use them because none of the Samsung phones is based on 'our' CPU with 'our' modem..

I guess we need Samsung insiders or Chinese/Korean people which can search on Chinese/Korean sites... Or something
