wow. so far so good. so glad switched to this one. Also maybe someone can help with this: How can I add/remove items from the status bar. For example I have hotspot enabled but it's not in my status bar. thank you

It should be found under
Settings > configuration > Status Bar > Status bar icons.

It looks to be on by default, maybe try to toggle it?
If it doesn't work it'll be fixed in a later build I'm sure.

Yep, thats where I went. I'm no expert in this but I played with settings>configurations>statusbar>icons and it seems to me that there is a disconnect in between this menu and the actual one when you drag down from the top to use it. Bottom line, changes you make in that icons menu do not reflect actual status bar.
And the only time hotspot icon shows up is when you click on edit titles in the drag down menu. And as soon as you finish editing it disapears.

Can't install

When I go to install, it fails. On latest twrp, and yes, I did factory reset in twrp. Any help is appreciated

For the most part this is a great rom. I even got visual voicemail to work.

Only issue I have is with my Bluetooth headset lg - hbs900. Sound works for media, and I can hear dialing, but once a call is answered I can only hear thru the earpiece or speakerphone.

Other than that its great!

This ROM is great just one problem when I went to use titanium backup it said I'm not rooted downloaded root checker and again no root access but I'm able to go in recovery. Is this a known issue what should I do?

Update 2/3/16

Ran an update today.

You can get it here: https://www.androidfilehost.com/?w=files&flid=45827
Unfortunately I was not able to dirty flash. I had to wipe system, data and the caches.

I used Titanium Backup to save my apps and their data (not system apps).
Then on reboot I downloaded TB and restored apps and data and rebooted.

EDIT:
Make sure before you open TB to restore the data, Enable Root in developer options and also enable unknown sources.
Else TB will hang on the first attempted app install.

Is it possible to have more than 3 tiles per row in the notification drawer like older resurrection remix versions? I've gone through all the settings and don't see that option anywhere, but it is listed as a feature.

Update 2/6/16

2/6/16 - I checked the changlelog there has been no official update since 1/23/16, I did build today though. This means some features may not be 100% complete.

If you'd like to give it a whirl. You can download it here
I always try this order of installation of an update

Get a GPS lock
backup with titanium backup - apps and data (nothing system)
boot to recovery and backup in TWRP

try to boot after each flash process of course.

wipe dalvik and partition cache and flash the rom
if not then
wipe system, dalvik and partition and flash rom and gapps
if not then
wipe system, data, dalvik and partition then flash rom and gapps and restore data in TWRP
if not then
wipe same as above, flash rom and gapps restore apps/data using titanium backup

I was able to successfully able to just flash the zip and wipe caches.

Same for me. Everything else I need works except Bluetooth call audio.

Thanks for great rom.

This is still in its infancy, so not everything has been added quite yet

no problem! thanks for the prompt reply. I've only been using this ROM since last night but haven't noticed any glitches yet... I noticed that some problems I'd run into with Temasek's CM13 builds don't seem to be impacted here.. Not to take anything away from his ROM because a lot of great work has been put into that as well..

Does it matter what baseband / kernel is on the phone prior to installing? Do I need 4.4 (NC5) or can I be on 5.0? Reason I ask is as far as I know I did the install to perfectly but no matter what I do (and I've tried multiple approaches to installing) I can not take the phone off NV and switch to RUIM/SIM. It's possible I've bjorked the phone with as much as I tinker with it. If I want to clean the phone of all prior tinkering, is there anything beyond using ##scrtn# and NVRebuild to take the phone back to as close to factory finish as possible?

I was on OK2 which is 5.0. You may have had a bad download. How did you get it dl'd straight to your phone or on your PC first and then transfer it over?

Yes, PC then to phone. I didn't think about bad download. I will download straight to fresh format memory card now and report back later how it goes.

    FAQ

This will serve as a FAQ for tips, tricks and fixes.

    Update Frequency
Probably like once a week to let the RR devs make good progress.

    Root?
you must enable root access by going to settings, developer options and then selecting root access.

    Ext. SD Card.
I advise against selecting convert to internal storage. Until there is a permanent switch to marshmallow

    GPS
I made sure to get a lock before flashing RR MM, I was able to get a good lock.

    Contacts Storage
You'll just have to restart the phone as it tries to deal with contacts the first time. I've read it is due to using to large of a gapps package, but I tried pico and it still happened. Just hold the power button down until the phone restarts and that will get you past it for now until they tweak that.

    Updating same versions
I always try this order of installation of an update

    Get a GPS lock
backup with titanium backup - apps and data (nothing system)
boot to recovery and backup in TWRP

try to boot after each flash process of course.

wipe dalvik and partition cache and flash the rom
    everything works? if not then
wipe system, dalvik and partition and flash rom and gapps
    everything works? if not then
wipe system, data, dalvik and partition then flash rom and gapps and restore data in TWRP
    everything works? if not then
wipe same as above, flash rom and gapps restore apps/data using titanium backup

    Possible Bluetooth workaround
    thanks to @Forever Justice
"I did a clean flash after I backed up....gotta give system a chance to catch up, and go into Bluetooth, back out, restart Bluetooth, search, if not close and close all running g background programs and go back in an Walla...I love this ROM.... "

    Bluetooth fix
from this post. Thank you @mon@diac and @benjaminclaw for trying it out on this rom

Sorry its been a while, there are some CM updates that require cherry-picking. I've never done this so it's a pretty big learning curve. Compounded by the fact that I am disabled and my hands suck, lol I can't do much more than maybe an hour of keyboard work without having to do nothing for pretty much the rest of the day.
