Gingerbread Root

To root you need the following

MOTO USB DRIVERS

ZERGRUSH V2 by Doomlord

Instructions:
  • Install USB Drivers
  • Extract Doomlords Package
  • Enable debugging on device. Settings -> Application -> Development -> Tick USB Debugging
  • Connect device to PC
  • Test if device is recognised in command prompt using ADB Devices (Optional)
  • Run the Runme.bat file in Doomlords package.
  • Enjoy


Tested on:
Optus XT910 with Build 6.5.1_73-spd-ird-12
Rodgers XT910
Verizion RAZR VZW 6.5.1-73_DHD-11_TA-3

WORKING RECOVERY FOUND HERE



Disclaimer:
All rooters are advised to do a adb pull /system after rooting before deleting applications

if you are using a bootstrap recovery for bionic, do you have BP tools to boot into using vol+pwr? Hashcode modified koush's bootstrap for the 2nd-system safestrap for bionic/d3 probably wouldnt be too hard for him to port to razr. Also, is the root method used the same that dan rosenburg found? after that leaked ota bionic users lost root and couldnt exploit anymore. we made sure to use otarootkeeper because of the ext3
