Is there a way to downgrade from 4.4.2 into 4.3 in the near future?

If this is the reason you want to downgrade then it's the wrong one. First you should try to start from a fresh clean installation. Either by flashing the latest official 4.4.2 in odin or by doing a full factory reset. You'll lose some of your data if you don't backup but that would happen anyway if you would be able to downgrade too.

Recently, Sam just released first KK updates for Note 10.1 2014 Ed. which allow to downgrade to 4.3.

Ability to downgrade in the near future for N3?
Maybe.

If samsung mistakenly releases their "tester fw" with unlock bootloader.

Samsung will probably never officially give you ability to downgrade since that means compromising the security of the system.

There is however a method to downgrade on Exynos models - search around for the threads about it.

Yeah dude, I'm so totally in agreement with you. My note 3 was fast, snappy, fluid, and just awesome all around till I upgraded to kit kat lol.

After using some google-fu, the reason why we can't downgrade from KK is because the qfuse was blown/tripped while updating. The qfuse is a physical part of the mobo and when its blown, its just not feasible to downgrade anymore I think. Yes, Sammy intended to blow/trip the qfuse.

Many reported that after updating, the sdcard could not be read, low or no signals, sluggishness, unexpected reboots, endless loops, battering draining rapidly, and so on. The solution was to do a factory reset which ended up fixing a lot of the issues. I reset my phone twice after updating and none of the problems mentioned happened to my phone.

However, I did experience that my phone was not as snappy and fluid as it was with JB. My 4G/LTE signals were very weak and my apps did not open as fast before. My banking app took forever to open. I was so pissed off. Entering my pin at the lock screen is sluggish and other things that I started to notice really disappointed me.

I called my carrier to complain about the update and told them my signal was always weak, peaking at one or two bars. The rep reset my signal connection and its okay but not as great as before. My apps open up a bit faster now.

I didn't know if you realized that Sammy took kit kat and customized the hell out of it. Its not Google's fault or that kit kat sucks. Place the blame on Sammy because I don't think the custom KK update was fully tested. It was more like it was rushed imo.

I won't be able to downgrade or root.

That's why I am still at 4.3 MJ7. But I have a question: why didn't anyone crack the bootloader? That would solve everything:

1) no more knox shown = less problems for warranties.
2) no locks and freedom to downgrade at will.

Yea same, note 3 on MJ1 was perfect, MJ7 brought battery drain and removed root, and kitkat got rid of a lot of features, fixed the battery problem (battery life is still worse than MJ1 tho), then brought a even bigger problem as occasionally music player would freeze and forces me to reset the phone as it completely freezes in about 5 mins if i leave it and it would not shut down using the option on the menu.

Bottom line is, if i could downgrade back to MJ1, I'll definitely do it.

Yeah I would downgrade in a heartbeat if it was possible too.

I don't know if you already know but google is working to bring out Android L which was released quite recently as a developer update for testing. I read that Android L saved as much as 37% of battery life on the Nexus 5 and its supposedly to bring other fixes as well.

So I'm hoping that Sammy will roll out Android L instead of 4.4.3 to note 3. Then again it will probably be released after new note 4. Note 4 :fingers-crossed: :p :good: I wonder if the Note 4 will be running Android L or 4.4.3. I might as well upgrade.

You see, I'm not a big fan of the new touchwiz tbh. The new bogey green theme kinda puts me off as well as it probably affects the battery life of devices since on AMOLED when displaying black (old touchwiz) the pixels are turned off, but they'll be on when displaying that sickly green.

I don't know why samsung decided that of all colours bogey green is the best colour for the theme :p

    What he did is flash using odin and factory reset twice after got bootloop.

    But I am not suggest you to do it, even though i want to do it as I feel kitkat battery life is getting worst. :(

    Its a fair enough question to ask. I would also like a dafe way to downgrade to install things like CM. IMO its a control thing. One that I dont like. But it is what it is.
