Hi there. Been a while since I've really been involved in this thread, but I thought I'd see if there were any updates for the P3113 (and family) since last I checked. So far I've downloaded the following (using Android-Andi's signature links as a guide):
- Slim-p3110-4.4.4.build.9.0-OFFICIAL-8291.zip - The last ROM version available for this tablet
- Slim-Addons-mini_gapps.4.4.4.build.9-20150107.zip - The mini GApps for this ROM version (I like to install Google stuff as needed)
- GT-P3110_TWRP_3.0.0-0.zip - The TWRP recovery
My interest is in keeping this tablet as slimmed down and fast as possible. Is this all I'll need to get everything reinstalled? I should still have my notes from the last time I flashed everything to get through the process. Are there any good kernels available for this to help speed it up, or does it work best with what comes with SlimKat?

You posted latest official build and there is newer unofficial build here:

It's better than official rom because it contains security fixes. About kernel I would stay with stock one since all kitkat custom kernels are outdated.

I think on SlimKat there's a mistake in the official source - it doesn't check the device while flashing, that's why the new common twrp might work.
It should check the device after https://github.com/SlimRomsSecurity/android_build/commit/9061a646647df79b409a0b6913b170cb7ad66f5d , but didn't got merged official.

Dear Andi,
My tab was slow and unresponsive for few weeks. So i tried to go back to slimkat 9.4-unofficial. I wiped data,system,cache.. Flashed slimkat & gapps. Wiped cache n dalvik. Stuck at boot logo. So wiped system and data,cache.. Now getting a message "unable to mount data" invalid argument error. I tried to mount data in twrp but no luck. I am using twrp 3.0.2
Please help me with steps to bring my tab alive. Help!!

Also note: The new "Common TWRP" won't be able to flash Roms compiled before 22.03.2016.

Hi andi, you saved the tab again!! Thank you very much. I formatted the data by typing yes then it worked.. I forgot this.. Sorry my bad.. After a long time i m coming to xda forums..
I wanted to install slimkat.. I can't flash older twrp recovery 2.8.7.1 etc from the latest 3.0.2-0 version. It shows error status 7 failed..
Am i missing something again??
Extract the recovery.img and uae the image flash option in twrp

I think I have same problem. I cannot receive apk file from another device(Android smartphone). Only can receive another file..
On my unofficial builds there should be an option to allow all files in advanced bt settings

Finally all problems solved and SlimKat 4.1 is available for the Galaxy Tab 2 Family (P31XX and P51XX) after some days delay.
Some kernel changes were reverted to change a massive battery-drain
!!!Thanks to all tester for testing and the quick feedback!!!!
Device specific bugs P31XX
Screen-Off-Animation ignoring our hwrotation=270
Workaround: Settings --> Display --> CRT animation: "dont show" , the screen will now fade off, no issues there
Device specific bugs P51XX
On screen-off-animation the screen turns off, turns on again for some milliseconds, and turn off again - like a flash-light.
Workaround: Settings --> Display --> CRT animation: "dont show"
