I lost 5% battery overnight(sleeping) while on wifi at home, had emails(junk) emails coming in, notifications from tapatalk. I don't know if there's a battery issue but it seems to just be the standard battery drain because we just flashed a new rom and it needs to settle after a few charges.
I noticed I was missing files on my internal sd, until I went to /data/media/0 then inside of that folder was another /0 and that is where my files were. Not sure why this happened or how to fix it. Any help would be appreciated. I should say that my phone was not recognizing the internal sd so i ran restorecon -FK /data/media/0 in terminal emulator as stated earlier in this thread. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix my file system other than reflashing the ruu?

I'm having a few major issues. After updating to the hboot in post #4115, I installed the original 11-14-14 release doing a FULL wipe (installing from SDCard, and not changing anything in the installer) and booted fine after a ~10 minute wait on the HTC Boot screen. I didn't have access to wifi at all. It wouldn't turn on. Even tried rebooting the phone and wifi still wouldn't turn on. I just tried the 11-15-14 release and I'm having the exact same problems. I have read every post here since 5.0 was posted and I can't find a solution. Maybe I missed it? What can I do? Info: HTC One M8 VZW (Red model), HBOOT 3.19, came from DH GPE 4.4.4 10-30-14. My phone isn't with me, so I have to check for replies on my computer.
The posted build prop a few pages so is not configured for this device. Flash an older ROM, reboot, then flash today's build clean.

Same here. Getting Lte but when lte drops off the device completely looses service as well (no 3g). The about status when lte is connected it also shows "no service" . Now the device after going to sleep will not wake back up without rebooting the phone. Black screen. I tried a fresh install with the same issues.

Will do. On another note I noticed in your older builds you would include Kernel Tuner. Would you recommend using that considering we're not using Lunar Kernel yet?
Same thing with no service. Clean flashed LTE works tho. Not sure what the deal is

I would wait. I am having 0 problems and good battery but seems like others are having issues. I've screwed myself before by flashing right before or being away from the house.
So I tried an experiment. I went back to my backup of 11/14/14 and pulled the build.prop out of the newest 11/15/14 build threw it in system and set permissions and rebooted. Everything works fine. 3g lte etc with the build.prop from the newest build. Now when I flash the newest build clean it gets the same issues of nothing but lte works.
I haven't flashed the update yet but my only issue is that Wifi turns off while asleep.. I have it set not to.. but still does.. Grr.. Great rom though! Lollipop is nice... also was I absent the day I missed where the reboot menu went? Just have power down?

Don't know if you fixed your issue. Here's how I fixed mine.
Plug your phone into the computer. Do a hard reset (PWR+VLMUP+VLMDWN) and then AS SOON as you here the device is connected, let go of Volume Up. This brought me back into HBOOT.

I just came on here to ask if anyone had messed with the DPI yet. Anyone on the new build play with it? I tried using 400 in the installer but got an error and had to reflash.
I'm so used to slimkat this huge phone now is driving me crazy lol. There's an app I used on 4.4 that I downloaded but afraid to use. Textdroider_dpi. It's what slimkat recommended but like I said, I don't want to break anything but really want a smaller dpi.

Hi! I'm Digitalhigh, and welcome.
What is this ROM?
This ROM is a mostly vanilla port of the International 5.1 Google Play Edition ROM for the HTC M8 with minimal modification and tweaks. GPE Roms are similar to AOSP in that they are lacking in the custom "skin" that OEM's like HTC and Samsung's respective Sense and Touchwiz use. However, unlike pure source-built ROMS, GPE contains certain features found in OEM ROM's. Specifically, this GPE supports boomsound, motion launch gestures, and the Duo FX camera.
What makes this ROM somewhat unique is that the installation process has been meticulously designed to be incredibly modular and allow for as much or as little customization as desired. Aside from the changes needed to make it work on Sprint and Verizon and updates to Google applications and frameworks, it is possible to install a nearly 100% stock GPE ROM. On the other hand, it's entirely possible to tailor nearly every element of the ROM's applications and performance variables.
In short, it's like an erector set for flashaholics who want some Sense in their Cyanogenmod...or maybe the other way round.

4. Select full wipe for initial flash, dirty if you're brave. (Mileage May vary)(<-That means if dirty flash doesn't work, don't ask about it, just do a clean flash)
5. Select your carrier.
6. Pick apps.
7. Flash.
8. Choose whether to reboot. If you're using MultiROM, don't select the reboot option, as recovery needs to update your kernel.

Me, HolyAngel, and Captain_throwback have ALL had the official release for a good chunk of time already. Not the one I've posted...but the release-keys, official, OTA version that will start kicking out tomorrow.
However, we were asked to keep it under our hats, so we tried.
But, people scavenging AFH found his version, so now all bets are off and I'm uploading the highly polished version I've been preparing to release later this evening.
So, screw it. It's going up. It's official. It's got newer firmware, bluetooth works perfectly, chromecast is good...it's damned solid all-around.
Oh, and it supports ALL carriers, and Captain_Throwback has asked me to take over official duties, so I will have a multiversion ready for you just as soon as my internet will let me.

52So, I've got some bad news...
I had planned on releasing a 120214 build today using our current version that had updated Viper4A, updated project ERA, fixed HOSTS file, updated SuperSU, Ambient Display, even more refinements to the tweaks and enhancements, and a few more uninstallable system apps.
But that is just not going to happen tonight.
It saddens me to have to inform you guys, but I've been forced by extenuating circumstances...to release a 120214 build today using the NEW RC build from HTC. You know, the one Mo Versi said was going to be delayed again? Yeah...that one. Well, we got our hands on it, and I have no idea what Google is on, because this thing is like buttered butter. It's like somebody covered a slip n' slide in KY jelly.
And yes, in the four hours we've had it now, we've been able to rip it apart, decompile the boot.oat, and add in all the APM mods. Plus I've got Ambient Display for you guys. And I fixed the g0$*#mn HOSTS file for adblocking.
So yeah. Get your donate buttons ready. If you were like "Man digitalhigh, this is the most ridiculously awesome ROM ever." with the previous builds, you're gonna cream in your tighty whities over this baby. I'm serious.
I'm doing what is hopefully my final test flash here, and then I will be uploading for your consumable goodness. AND I might actually go to bed before midnight one night this week. Score for me.46Wow. Pretty sad reading through here, between the squabbling and the noobs asking stupid questions and not providing any useful information, despite my repeated requests for stuff like logcats, what version you flashed, or what firmware you're on.
I'm happy to try helping, but this is getting ridiculous. I couldn't even post new info on builds if I wanted to... It'd just get swept away in two minutes.
If you're not providing the info I request ad nauseum, I will simply report your post for deletion. I don't have enough time to develop, have a life, and babysit this thread.
