Looking for a slim grip case

I'm looking for a case for my s3. I have an otterbox which I love. The other day though, I took it off because my phone was overheating. I MISS this slimness.

Here's the issue, I dropped my phone in the past. On the very top left of the phone, there's a small crack. The otterbox defender covers that corner with that lip in the plastic. I'm looking for something with a grip so the phone doesn't fall again as well.

I like that case a lot but it does the have that lip to cover the crack

I like the Rock Quicksand. It's pretty slim, though it gets a "used" look after a few months in my pockets.

I'm showing a picture of what I mean by the otterbox lip that I need. It covers my crack. I saw (I think its the element case) with the speaker redirect and that was pretty cool. Does anyone know if that will work?

i just got a black tpu gel case that has grip on the sides. and only for $9. dont have to spend a fortune on a case.

Yes. But probably wont cover the crack on your screen
