Has anyone else noticed the 'on battery' value does not refresh after connecting the phone to a charger? Ex: I just unplugged my phone from my car charger, it charged about 7%, it still shows 'on battery 5h 38min'.
the only way I have been able to reset it is by clearing battery stats in CWM

They only reset after a "full"charge, which is 95% when using 1% increments. (or else wiping stats in CWM, as you already know ;))

Edit re: silvercloak

Are you going into mounts and storage in cwm and formatting system? That is different than just wiping cache and data, and I bet well fox your issues

I don't get it!!! I did a fastboot wipe, factory reset, cache wiped, and dalvik cache wiped, before the install and then after I did factory, cache and dalvik again.

It STILL doesn't work for me. Keyboard freezing, and words with friend crashed everytime it does the stupid fracking Zynga ads after you play a turn. WTF?

My friend's phone works perfect. They're the same model numbers so the CPU can't be different can it?

This is driving me crazy, I can't figure out WHY his is perfect and mine screws up. Now I have to reset it to a more stable ROM again.

Silvercloak

I did not see u mentioning system wipe..it is s must for cm9 and is to be done as an extra step other than factory, cache, dalvik and fastboot -w.
You can do that by going to mounts and storage in CWM and selecting format system.

Sorry if you already did this..hope this helps

What kind of bug? I can run adb command on windows 7.Anyway how to enable fingerprint scanner?I had installed the patch. Is it i need to restore the data using TiBu?

Well for me on Windows 7. Fresh reboot ur device, pluging the device to ur machine using USB. It would detect ur device and u can adb n all other stuff.

But if after that you unplug and re plug ur device into ur PC (without rebooting the device) Windows does not recognize your device. Is this a CM9 bug? Or is it just with this ROM.

i never had that issue, i just close the USB app when im done, and if i need, reconnect it again to do something i forgot...
ahh, when you want to disconnect, please go in the notification of USB and put to unmount, not just remove the cable. is what i do.

On the subject of VPN,

I have tried it with straight beta 3.1 and faux 0.25.

In both cases it simply says connecting then unsuccessful.

Not sure how to generate logging for this OS, is there particular command line magic or should I Google it?

n00b questions, your assistance is greatly appreciated

1-How do I update from CM9 0.3.0 to 0.3.1?
2-Will this process wipe all my data like the initial 0.3.0 install did?
3-Where can I find info regarding the 0.3.1 release?

Thanks!

Just wipe cache and dalvik cache first, then flash 0.3.1 onto of 0.3.0 so you can keep all your apps. All the info you need is in the OP, a.k.a. the first page.

1-Apply zip from recovery directly with no extra steps.
2-Nope, it will overwrite old files and add new ones.
3-You have to wait Jokersax get some free time to tell us

    100 terabytes transferred.
    3000 pm's
    10000+ comments between two threads
    Over 2 millions views
Both threads were 1 and 2 for xda for several weeks.
    200+ referring websites
    150000 attempted attacks
Someone is using Netscape :what: seriously 500 dollar phone and you're using windows 3.1???
    IPhone 5.2 and 5.3???
Funniest comment denied "tenga egg video" umm no
Best pm "bj for your hard work?" I didn't accept as I ended up with the girl that motivated me to get into Android dev'ing.
Proudest moment: several nvidia workers telling me about cm9 by me before they knew who I was.
Funniest webmaster email: angry wife claiming I hypnotized her husband into my cult.
Hardest fix to find, that stupid semicolon :banghead:
Easiest fix: doing nothing and magically something starts working.

    Just a few fun facts
