Hey AJ what are mDNIesharpness tweaks? Just out of curiosity. In extreme battery profile they're disabled, is this because they're considered to use more battery?

No plans at this time for what will follow.
I don't want to just rehash the same kernel with a version increment.
Will look into some improvements and then take it from there.

Just an observation; if you set bln timeout option to use ROM defaults, it stops working after a few minutes. LEDs fail to light, or fail to shut off. Reboot does not help. Easily remedied by setting to 6 seconds, but strange behavior nonetheless as no other version does that.

That option will not increase battery use. I just didn't think to enable it in extreme battery profile.
It is supposed to make text a bit clearer. I personally cannot tell the difference, but my eyesight is incredibly poor. I do leave it enabled tho :laugh:
AJ, you have done something for "scrolling smoothness" that you haven't mentioned in your 7.9 change log!!
XDA app is the best one to test scrolling smoothness of a kernel :laugh::laugh:

Anyone having an internal sd issue. My sd would disappear all if a sudden and reappear upon reboot sometimes. Been happening since few release. Probably since 7.7. I just didn't report it cause by the time i sign on a new release is posted LOL. So i was hoping its fix. After the initial flash everything works fine. After a day or so it would act out. Im in paranoid ported to out device

Flashed 7.9b.
Weird experience.
Scroll is choppier. SD card unmounted itself (first time ever).
Phone locked solid when I used one of thr widgets I used thousands of times before.
Rebooted and got SOD right after boot. That didn't happen for a long time....
Reverted back to 7.8.6 the smoothest experience so far...
Not sure if its a kernel or some flashing glitch. Always follow OP to the letter.
EDIT: I am always on rav4kar profile with CortexBrain off/Pegasusq/SIO no overclocking. ShoStock3 2.1

Hmm...I am having totally different experience on 7.9b/sho3 2.5.1/rav4kar combination. It's smooth and no SoDs since I flashed 7.9b last night. Maybe you can give it another try per instructions and see. Is it SoD or just screen lock/freeze?

1. Open ExTweaks
2. Select Screen tab
3. Go to "Batt Move Filter", increase it BY ONE and apply
4. Test it, if it still stutter, increase ONE STEP ONLY and apply
5. Repeat step 4 till the stutter/jitter is gone. Don't set it too high as it'll result the touchscreen capability lost
6. If "Batt Move Filter" is OK without any jitter again, connect your charger and go to "Chrg Move Filter"
7. Repeat step 4 till you satisfied and again: DON'T SET IT TOO HIGH, ONLY INCREASE TILL THE JITTER/STUTTER IS GONE
Do this at your own risk!
If you lost the touch capability caused by too high value then you will need to reset ExTweaks profile in recovery.
I can say its different for each device as the test shown:
-My S2: Batt Filter 16 & Chrg Filter 50, stutter/jitter gone completely, below that value the screen is stuttering/jittering.
-My son's S2: Batt Filter 13 & Chrg Filter 46, stutter/jitter gone completely, below that value the screen is stuttering/jittering.
