So I'm trying to figure out how to get events created via voice command formatted correctly. I found a info graphic that says to use, "Create calendar event, event in New York, Saturday at 8pm" as an example. Well I'm trying to put my work schedule in, and tried, "create calendar event, work, Monday at 9am to 5pm". I get an event that is what: meeting, where: work, when: 9am to 9:30am. Does anyone know how to properly create my event via voice with google now?

And I assume the infographic you're talking about is:

Try saying "go to work" instead of just "work." Seemed to create the proper event for me doing it that way.
What I said exactly: "create calendar event go to work on monday at 9am to 5pm"

If you want the description to just be "Work," you'll have to edit that manually. As far as I know, there is no way to force Google to have a different interpretation, it's likely coded to use things like "home" and "work" as locations.
