Actually you don't need s-off I tried it all you have to do is extract the boot.img you want from the zip flash it with fastboot then run the zip in recovery when the installer got to the part about which kernel you want I picked the one I already flashed and I was up and running in no time at all

Any news on this? I've just flashed from 1.1 to 1.2, wiped everything, and am having the same glitch.. its a skip but its a very brief skip, about every 3 or 4 seconds while listening to music using the stock music app and beats enabled. I had no idea, I went out today and had my headphones with me as entertainment, and they ended up being more of a neck-weight after awhile - I just couldn't listen to it anymore.. it was hurting my brain. Hope there's a solution to this in the near future.. I've tried all the ICS roms in our vivid dev section and this is by FAR the best one, but I can't handle the skippy audio..

strange did this still happen when you had beats disabled?

You can always either turn beats off and use the equalizer or not install the sound enhancement mod and use the stock beats. I do the latter until its fixed in the mod.
Ohhh! I wasn't aware the mod installed a modified beats as well. I will reflash and try again without the mod. I'm still not used to the Aroma installer - which by the way is beautiful - and I actually forgot that I selected it. Duh..
I'll re-flash and try again without the sound enhancement mod - I'll post back and report if its any different.

What kind of kernel comes with the rom? Is it the Kernel from Stock ICS?
I'm asking because many people here who have WIFI problems are told they should use the stock kernel... Stock Kernel means the kernel which comes with the rom or the kernel from stock ICS?

Stock kernel has WiFi modules that must be installed with it. Each kernel build has its own specific modules unless they're are built into the kernel. Stock kernels do not have them built in.

If one of you knowledgeable kind would could help me? I am told I have to flash a boot.IMG prior to flashing Wild Child's ATT Rom....problem is I have always used hasoon2000 all in one tool....so o don't know what the step by step process is to flash a bin file before flashing the Rom?
Is this done from Thebes card or is it on the computer? Do I need to post the boot.IMG in a file on the laptop then connect the phone and put in Vol Down and power. Then choose what?
What do I do on the laptop? Is there a specific command to access the boot.IMG?
I am lost as I flash the Rom without doing this boot.IMG first and I get no hotspot access....so I am Tod it is because I am not flashing the boot.IMG first.....I need step by step as I am missing something Here.....the all in one does it for ya.....please help as I want to access the free hotspot feature, who wouldn't thanks for listening..... For this rom first it said that you have to flash the included kernel otherwise the rom wouldn't work correctly... Now in the new 1.2 version you can choose between 3 different kernels. One of them is the Stock AT&T Kernel. So i don't understand why you need to flash this kernel? I thought the stock kernel is the kernel you have from your original rom, so why flash it again?
From what you explained i understand that the stock kernel will not work on custom roms like this because this doesn't come with the WiFi modules?! But the Stock rom comes with the right modules?
And a kernel like yours work because it has the WiFi modules included?

I too am at a loss here and i am still trying to get the boot.img flashed prior to flashing the ROM....Unfortuantley I still am not understanding where to put the file and is it this file boot.img ? or this file, PH39.IMG.Zip?
Do we put these on the SD card and Flash form there or do we use the command prompt on the computer to? and what do we tyoe in the command prompt...

When you are flashing the kernals are you doing a wipe and reinstalling the rom or just flashing them? I think when you go from one kernal to another w/o doing a wipe there are some files you have to manually change.
Ok the kernel or boot.img is the samething unzip the rom find boot.img drag it and put it in your folder with fastboot open the folder and right click while hiting your shift key then click on command prompt here boot your phone up to bootloader a pick fastboot hook your phone up to your computer in the command prompt window type fastboot flash boot boot.img and hit enter after it is done unhook your phone boot into recovery and run the rom you put on your sd card

That sounds weird, i think there must be another problem. I just flashed the rom and did not change the kernel yet which means i'm still on the kernel from the Stock Telstra Rom and WIFI works perfectly for me!
