Currently inside at a large window, but I'll go outside and try again. It hasn't worked in the past either in or out.

I got a fix outside after about a minute. Exited and tried again, took about 12 seconds this time. It's really overcast today, might have something to do with it.

Where can I check the signal lock in the settings?

Nevermind, downloaded GPS Status & Toolbox

Hello,

Is (will be) there a way to adjust the so called "vitalij value"? It's currently set to 6px (according to the touchmove app). The stock rom uses 16px.

I find that many times a tap is not detected as such, specially when using just 1 hand.

Julian.

In CM9 try Settings < Advanced < Screen < Touch Sensitivity
Also, pretty sure SiyahKernel has tweakable vitalij value

REMEMBER, if you run into any problems use that thread for help not this one

There is something strange with the Language - Spelling correction

My system is in English, but I want the Spelling correction be in Portuguese. So I enter in the configuration:

vZ1bR.png

BetWK.png

5Hi77.png

And it's checked as "Use system language". But when I try to find the "Portuguese", it's not there.

Altough, I can change the System Language to Portuguese, and then "Use system language". But, in my case, I want to continue with the system in english.

No one?

Useless report is useless... No system wakelock statistics, no kernel wakelock statistics, no Wireshark capture if there were lots of wlan wakelocks.

Another useless report.

People ***** about battery, then when the settings are tuned in the direction of battery, they ***** about performance, YOU CAN'T HAVE IT BOTH WAYS.

If you don't like the default settings, CHANGE THEM. THEY ARE TUNABLE FOR A REASON. Stop asking developers to hold your hand! Do you want us to feed you too?

You're probably suffering a wakelock.

I love it when Entropy512 throws a fit. ;)

I'm not having a go at you, just don't bump your own question after only 40 minutes it's just impolite. If everyone did that this thread would be even more of a mess than it is now.

Almost 3 pages after I posted, I bump the question. It was not about the time, it was because at this 3 pages, the only thing they talked about is "how to download the torrent file", like it was somehow dificult for anyone...

Every single nightly is the same aumont of posts for the same question... it's just stupid...

Sorry for the noobness but which things should I change? Another gov, scheduler, voltages?

Sent from my GT-I9100 using XDA

Frequency and staycount of first GPU step would be my guess.

Code:
/sys/devices/virtual/misc/gpu_clock_control/gpu_control
/sys/devices/virtual/misc/gpu_clock_control/gpu_staycount
/sys/devices/virtual/misc/gpu_voltage_control/gpu_control

I've just upgraded to 25/04 from 22/04 and the flickering on screen when u hold your fingers in one place on say the contacts is now gone. Excellent job devs. Not that it was a big issue just thought I'd post to say the new build has fixed that little issue for me.

Sent from my mobile device.

Just upgraded but didn't solve that issue for me (and I really wanted it to be fixed). Even removed my screen protector to test (as suggested by some others including code). Just ranting here.
Gotta get a new screen protector next morning. :-t

    CyanogenMod is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 4.0 (ICS), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.

    Code:
    #include
    /*
     * Your warranty is now void.
     *
     * I am not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards,
     * thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please
     * do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM
     * before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if
     * you point the finger at me for messing up your device, I will laugh at you.
     *
     * Submitting bug reports on nightly builds is the leading
     * cause of male impotence.
     */

    CyanogenMod is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. CyanogenMod does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

    All the source code for CyanogenMod is available in the CyanogenMod Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to CyanogenMod, please visit out Gerrit Code Review. You can also view the Changelog for a full list of changes & features.

    It's done when it's done. Don't expect a release withing the next days. If it takes weeks, then it takes weeks.

    I'll focus on I9100 development because it's the device with the most users.
    It will take us a lot of time to integrate all patches/hacks needed for samsung devices.

    Don't bug us or ask for etas, just be patient and let us work.
    That's the best what you can do.
