I've heard that Moto has inserted some of their own modified apps in Moto-G so it isn't pure anymore:sly:

1New phone. All I can tell you is my Gio is as old as they are and when the battery starts to die, again now, I've pretty much always got it plugged in. All cables work which means my port is still good (they are a bit wobbly though).
Perhaps you stepped on it while it was plugged on and damaged the port (had a mate do this when drunk and he was out buying a new phone 2 days later because it wouldn't charge). Only testing other cables will tell.

I need a new phone but I want to wait and see the real specs and price of S5 Mini (because I've been sucked in by the hype).
