I have installed that file which is named minimal_adb_fastboot_v1.4_setup.exe . However, it is not that version? I see:

I have a Nexus 9 that doesn't like updates. I cannot say why but it started with the update from Android 5 to 5.x. I kept getting 'error in @cache/block/block.map'. The only solution at that point in time was too update using fastboot but of course I had to backup and then restore my tablet from scratch. It wasn't fun and 4gb of downloads. After that all of the updates worked including the update from Android 5.x to 6.x.
Jump ahead to the May '16 security update which wiped out the os and led to another visit with my old friend fastboot to restore my device again (and another 4gbs of downloads).
The June security update would not install but at least did not ruin the os. I found your tool along with 'adb driver installer' and using them flashed the June os.
I had to use your v1.3.1 because v1.4 would not work on Win XP (yes I know) and it worked. The question is, Will there be problems because of this? The Nexus 9 seems to be working fine.
Any ideas on why the device chokes on these monthly updates? The fellow I spoke to at Google (2nd level) says the problem stems from bad ram but I have to wonder.

Hello everybody as promised before the end of Friday it's 11:30 PM here in Boston and version 1.4.2 of MAF has just been added to the OP! It includes adb and fastboot revisions 0e9850346394-android. The link for the portable version will be uploaded in the morning :good:!
