A home screen that uses Just UCCW and Power Toggles Widgets, hence making it FULLY and EASILY Customizable.
The first page is this, with the notifications:
Tapping the icon on the top right, flips over to the back of the Notif page, showing a picture of you in the first box, and toggles. (This is done in AOSP JB 4.2 so I mimicked it)
In NOVA settings, press and hold volume down button, go to labs, and enable higher grid, and choose 13x6, with no vertical or horizontal margins. Enable widget overlap, and have two pages, and the set the transition effect to flip.
Download UCCW and Power Toggles from the Play Store.
The first page has 9 UCCW Widgets, and the second has 4.
Add 9 UCCW widgets yo your first screen, one by one, and select 'open uzip' and go to where you extracted the zip, and Choose Notif bar #1 for the first widget, all the way to Notif Bar #9 for the ninth widget you place on your home screen. Resize them so they look like they do in the screenshot.
Similarly put four UCCW widgets on second screen, and select QS Bar #1-4 for the four widgets. Resize them.
Apply power toggles widgets to the second page with the required colors etc and place them on top of the UCCW Widgets on the second page. Resize them.
Download Google HOLO Icons, for JB 4.2 and JB 4.1 (From Download page on developer.android.com) and open each UCCW Widget, and choose 'Image 1' 'Image 2' etc, and choose the icons you need from there.
Place an icon for 'Jump to page' (part of nova actions) and place it to jump to page 2 on the top right of Page 1, and vice versa, and choose a transparent icon.
Then add your apps and Folders and shortcuts on top of the UCCW widgets, and make them transparent, and voila, its done
1st Please don't lough to my English I've got some requests on PM how did I made this screen. I'll try to write this tutorial anyway, but for keeping the thread clean, I've hide the screenshots & tutorial, so click the "Show content" button.
This is tutorial for Apex launcher, because I'm using it And general for screens 720x1280. I don't know yet how to make one screen with 720x1280 wallpaper on Nova launcher, because I think it won't crop properly, because wall have to be 1440x1280.
Extract transparent icon from zip and place both, icon and wallpaper on your SD card.
2. Setting the launcher
-open Apex (leuncher) settings and open Homescreen settings (1st option)
-set portrait grip to 8x5
-set Horizontal margin to None
-set Vertical margin to None
-in Homescreen settings scroll down to see Wallpaper mode option
-set to Single screen (non-scrolling)
-open Manage screens
-remove all homescreens to just one homescreen left
-go back to Apex settings
-open Dock settings (3rd option)
-scroll to the bottom and check the Hide dock box
-go back
-open Behavior settings (5th option)
-scroll to the middle of the screen an set Swipe up to Show app drawer (because I don't have dock and app drawer shortcut on homescreen - no need for it) so you can open the app drawer
3. Setting the wallpaper
-long press on homescreen, choose wallpapers
-choose from Gallery
-find the folder where you put it
-choose the desired wallpaper
-now you'll probably see this
-drag square to the bottom left corner (be precise) and grab the upper dot and resize it to the upper right screen. Over the whole screen
-now you'll see like this
-press OK
4. Setting icons/apps on homescreen
-place apps from app drawer where they belong
-like this
-for social I have made the folder of frequent "social" apps
-to make icons transparent you'll need now the transparent icon
-long press on app/icon
-you'll se now this option
-press edit and press on app icon
-now you'll see this
-press Select picture
-press Gallery and find the folder where you placed the transparent drawer (icon won't be visible, you have to know where it is , so it's good to have special folder for it)
-choose the transparent icon and then press OK
-repeat this for all apps including app folder
