Flash stock firmware used sp flash tool

Where can I get a copy of the stock firmware? I altered mine and like a dumbass, did not make a backup or a copy of the original...

MIUI v.5 3.9.28 can be flash and boot up without bootloop after deleted format ext4, emmc command in the updater script. Use CWM 6.0.3.4 recovery. Cannot change apn, maybe need to patch framework.jar.
Wipe data / factory reset, wipe cache and dalvik cache, format system then flash the rom.

Lenovo s920 - Flashing process of overseas version
I own a Lenovo S920.
I bought it from China and came back to India, then changed the language to English. Everything was perfect except the Chinese Lenovo store. When I came to India, the mobile cant find its location so that I can't download anything from Google play. And the WLAN also not working (Always blinking). Is it a software problem?? I am using the latest update. If the installation of overseas version can solve the problem, can you please explain the process of flashing the overseas version??

That is the overseas version.

Extract meta.inf folder from rom use 7zip, find updater-script then use notepad++ to edit as follow :
- delete get prop line
- format ext4, emmc line.
After that move or drag meta.inf folder back to rom zip.
If still bootloop than replace the boot.img in the rom zip with boot.img from stock rom.
Always make sure that rom we want to flash is rom for S920, because when we flash other phone boot.img to S920 it could brick our device.
Stock apps missing after Framaroot! HELP!!
Help me guys! My stock apps such as messaging, dialer, phonebook missing after rooting using Framaroot. Both sim card aren't usable after root but luckily they are back after factory reset.
However, my messaging, phonebook and dialer icons on the home turns to shortcuts directed browser or Google Play after factory reset. Currently using 3rd party apps (Go dialer, Go phonebook)... Messaging is a big problem, all 3rd party app in Google Play doesn't have the capability to choose which sim i wan't to use to send sms like the original stock messaging app.
Does anybody have a solution? I prefer the flashing ROM method to be the last solution. Thanks.

I have the same problem also. How you solve the problem? Can share?
What is the usage of apdb folder, modemdb folder and md5sum.txt file that comes together in the stock rom?
Do not change any file from stock, leave it as it.
Pls more detail what the problem and what have you did?

Weird, how come rooting can did that happened. I root so many times with framaroot and nothing went wrong.
I think the best way is reflash rom.

I do quite some of thing.
Before that, my device already had problem after i done the step below. It couldnt boot succesfully, just stop at the lenovo logo screen
1. Download meteos-mtk6589-rom-edit-8gb-en.apk file. Install it and open it.
2. Had choose the 1st option; This will still give you a 1.5gb /data partition. Bood into recovery mode.
3. When in recovery select "Wipe Data/Factory Reset".
After that, the phone keep stay in the lenovo logo screen without any error. Waited for 15min. it couldnt load the phone succesfully.
After that, i came into this forum
1. I extract the the original stock rom using 7z.zip.
2. Run the sp flash tool
There are some doubt from me actually, when i read the russia forum (through google translate), i understand if i install the driver correctly, the device manager in my pc should be like in lpt & com device show in pic (drivers.png). but, mine didnt have.
But if we check using the usbdeview (usbdeview.jpg) . I shows there is a driver install.

The device only show in 1 or 2 second then disappear. It not always show. Just pay attention on lpt and port com, connect the phone without battery, it will show about 1 second then disappear again.

Had flash again as below
Flash again, but this time check DA DL ALL With Check Sum in FlashTool, then Firmware -> Upgrade

Good to know that, but next time I think better choose download rather than update / upgrade, as I hv read somewhere (I've forgot) choose update / upgrade in sp flash tool will wipe the preloader partition and if flashing failed then the phone will brick.

I bought it in China and re flashed the firmware of it to a Russian modified.
I'd like to share with you the process that located in the Russian forum:

Also I found on the Chinese forum a OVERSEAS firmware (S920_ROW_S110_20130515) - updated to "S920_ROW_S114_130626" after installation.

Installed it. (changed the EBR2 file and flashed again - now using it for everyday use)
Re-partition of the internal storage
I found that the internal memory is parted into Internal Storage and USB Storage - seems useless when inserting an uSD card (the USB storage is sdcard0) and also confusing.
I found a way to re-part the memory so that the Internal Storage became 3.6GB (left 18MB for thr USB Storage because if it's 0MB the phone stop seeing the uSD card). After 1st boot I selected the "SD storage" as "default write disk".(and changed it in all applications ex. Camera)
This is done by editing the HEX of the EBR2 file (I used the OVERSEAS firmware).

Using this method it's also possible to change all the partitions (system,cache etc.) sizes.
I don't see any added value in it so I only edited the Data partition.

Rooting

2. Copy the apk file to the SDCARD
3. Install the apk file (on the internal memory)
4. Start the app after the installation
5. Choose SuperUser or SuperSU (the writer advise to choose SuperSU)
6. Press "Boromir"
7. (from me) start the SuperSU app and make binaries update.
Done.
Next thing I'd like to do is change the functionality of long press on home button (switch it with the left button)

the rom is ported from Xperia C
this app has a visualizer, RDS, and you can choose Radio region!!
you can install it as a normal application, you don't have to be rooted, and you will still have stock FM app.

First of all - you should edit the EBR2 before flashing the rom.
What I did is:
1. Backup all the apps with Titanium backup to SDCARD (recheck few times that the selected storage of Titanium backup is the External SDCARD) - if you select in settings->storage->SD storage as a default write disk then your External SDCARD will probably be sdcard0 (otherwise it will be sdcard1...and you should change the location of backups in settings of Titanium backup).
2. Made a copy of the Overseas ROM
3. Changed the parameter CHECKSUM_SWITCH from 1 to 0 (in the file Checksum.ini)
4. Edited the EBR2 (I'll upload later today my EBR2 that making the Internal Storage to be 3.6GB and the USB storage to be 18.59MB)
5. Flashed the changed ROM
6. Changed the Default Write Disk (settings->storage) to SD storage
7. Recovered apps (using Titanium Backup)
*** pay attention that there're applications (like camera) that it's default storage is still the 18MB (changed it in settings)
