Those of you who want to request features, I'll gladly take them. Please make a post with the Name of the item wanted to be implemented along with a possible link as to where I could find it and I'll see to it that it gets added!

They will NOT be in Elements HD 1.0.0 however (1.0.1 for P6200 users). I'll be putting in requests into Elements HD 2.0.

Build 4 will be the Final release for 1.0.0 (1.0.1 for p6200 users).

Build 3 For P6200 Users is here: http://d-h.st/hZB

Be sure to thank gingerboy92 for finding what was wrong with the P6200 build! I did not have the partition table for the device so I was just going off of my head and my tablet's table which was WRONG apparently. (Once again why things are always risky when a dev makes stuff for devices they don't have! xD)

Once again (I really don't want PMs):

Install Instructions:
1. Download ROM for your device
2. Put on Device (Preferably Internal Storage)
3. Reboot Recovery (Power off, then Power on and Hold Volume UP)
4. Wipe Davlik Cache (It's Under Advanced) Battery Stats, Cache, and Data.
5. Flash ROM (Install Zip)
6. Reboot (Let it boot for a bit)
7. Power Off & Reboot Recovery
8. (DO NOT WIPE) Flash ROM (Install Zip) once again!

Follow those simple steps and you're good to go! :D

folllowed the steps and it installed the 1st time with no issues, but i reinstalled it a second time as part of the instructions and it did further 180 updates, after that i am also getting, crashes from, email, messaging, social hub. I am no expert but i suspect this has something to do with the build prop? Also no root access.

Assuming this is the P6200 build? No worries. I'll have that stuff all fixed up by Build 4. Sorry the the issues. Build 3 seems to be a disaster for the 3G tab haha.

Nope. I've been slaving my ass off catching up with School. I had Strep Throat from last last (the Friday before Black Friday) Friday and took Friday, Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday off from School. (Had Thursday and Friday off of course for Holidays) I just got back this Monday with a **** ton of homework, an Art Essay (I HATE Art!), and a whole bunch of timed writes and tests to retake and or take this week (forcing me to study). As of right now (22:00 AZ), I'm stressing out over doing 4 Geometry Assignments and Spanish homework before 01:00 (AZ). And I STILL have an Art Essay, Paper, and 2 Projects due Friday. Then of course my room is a total ****hole and my mom is throwing a never-ending *****fest about it. I also have Club meets every single day after school for Engineering Club, Anime Club, DECA, NHS, and Best Buddies Club (We help Mental Children). To be honest, Build 4 is the last thing on my mind.

^
There's your 'news' for build 4 Hehe. :)

I'll probably start it Saturday if I'm not busy with **** still.

StrumerJohn, thank for all your efforts with this ROM. Definitely overall better sound quality. I see that you've included Walkman with this ROM, which works pretty good but when I select Sound enhancements I get a force close. Is this working for you or anybody else using this ROM?

That's normal. XD. I'm fixing that. Then sound enhancements are a port so they aren't 100% working yet.

I would like to request something in the sound enhancement department as iv been looking for a app to boost or change the default DB levels,
I would love to be able to use something like the voodoo sound kernel enhancements. If any one has found as way to boost the sound levels i would love a hint on how to do so, as even in Cm10 this feature seems to be dramatically left out.

Another thing i am really missing now that i am back on ICS is the Google voice features from JB, i guess there is no chance of a integration?

On a side note : I read a rumor a while back that there was going to be a offical release of JB for the P6200 & P6210 ~ Does anyone have any confirmation on if this is true and when this might be expected ?

Thanks in advance for any information.

I have not tried this on the Samsung tab because its plenty loud for me, but you might try Speaker Boost app in the Google Play
store.

I think by Google Voice, you mean Google Now , the cards that show up when you search. This can be added by installing a app. Do a search , its in the XDA somewhere.

i tested out the speaker boost ap from the app store, I think it only boosts the actual speaker and not the 3.5mm jack, as im looking to boost the db to about +2db im get to find a app that does that on the p600.. I used to use the voodoo App on my p1000 but the kernel is currently not supported for the p6200.

Thanks for the advise on Google now, that's what i was looking for, i am currently seeing if i can install it :) - this would also be a nice feature to integrate into the ROM at some stage at possible :fingers-crossed:

Edit ~ installed Google now ~ works like a charm ~ cheers for the tip ;)

If you want support for your Tablet, please PM me a System Dump of your latest STOCK ICS.

An easy way to do this is to download a Root File Manager, go to the Root, Select the system Folder and COPY it, and then PASTE it on your SDCARD.
This CAN take awhile, so please be patient and Make sure your screen doesn't time out. Keep it on during the pasting / file transfer. A good way to do so is to edit the timeout to 10 minutes.

After it's on your SD Card, put it on your computer

I also need a Boot.img however. Getting that's easy too though!

1. Go into Recovery Mode
2. Make a Backup
3. On the computer, browse your Tab's storage and in the ClockworkMod Folder go to backups (then the name of the backup you just did), and copy the Boot.img to the desktop. (Then put it in the same folder as the System dump you did)

Make a new folder (just call it dump or something), Throw the System folder you copied in it along with the boot.img you just got.

Zip the folder up, Upload it somewhere, and PM me the Download Link.

----

Method 2:

Find a Stock ICS ROM (w/ Boot.img) and PM me the thread or Download LInk. (If it doesn't have one and it's the same ICS you're running, just give me your boot.img).

--------

Sorry for making it a big task, but I don't have the Device and this is the easiest way I can direct you guys to do something that you'll all (Hopefully) understand on how to do :).

=

P.S. GT-P6210 users checkout the changelog for what I'm uploading :)

Hi, I would like to thank you for taking the time to do this. Here's my boot.img and a download link to the official ICS firmware.

Boot img: http://www.4shared.com/file/BNjT0_Gp/boot.html

T869 ICS: http://www.hotfile.com/dl/166928445/040aa2a/T869UVLG7_T869TMBLG7_TMB.zip.html

I dont have many requests for this rom other than quick panel settings with the flash light toggle, and the 1% battery mod, except to ask that you please leave the default photo editing and music app as it is. Managing my music and playlists have never been easier and I've used other apps like it and they just don't compare.

I'm not talking about the Google Music app, but rather, this..

z5N27.png

I've used Apollo on CM10 which was horrible enough to send me running happily back to stock. My other request is that you include the build.prop changes that CM10 has, because not only did it increase the volume of my speakers, as well as the sound quality, but I was able to play any Gameloft game I wanted.

Thank you very much.

    FAQ

    Q. How do I install this ROM?
    A. First of all, download it from above for your device. There's three models of this Tablet, the GT-P6210 /1 (WiFi), GT-P6200 /1 (GSM), and SGH-T869 (T-Mobile). Click the download for your device and download the ROM.
After Downloading, Move the ZIP folder on to your Tablet's Internal or SD Card Storage by connecting it to the computer. Now Power OFF your tablet. Next, Hold down the Power and Volume UP keys at the same time (Whilst it off), then once it turns on RELEASE your finger off of the Power Key, Only holding down the Volume UP Key now. Once in the Recovery, (Optional: Make a Backup) Clear your Dalvik Cache (Under Advanced), Cache, and Data. Now Install the ZIP folder from your SD Card (It should Says Elements HD Build xxx).
    Summed Up:
    1. Download ROM (For your device)
    2. Transfer to Device
    3. Reboot Recovery
    4. Wipe Dalvik & Regular Cache, then Data
    5. Install ROM

    Q. Why won't my Tablet boot?
    A. Something probably went wrong while installing the ROM. Just Reflash (Install again) it in the recovery WITHOUT wiping this time.
    1. Power off (It SHOULD bootloop or get stuck)
    2. Reboot Recovery (Power + Vol Up, then once on Vol Up [While OFF])
    3. (DO NOT WIPE) Flash Elements HD Build 3
    4. Reboot (DO NOT WIPE)

    Q. Why did you keep the Boot Sound?
    A. To make sure the Tablet is at least heading in the right direction and not bootlooping a blackscreen. I'll probably remove it later though.

    Q. Why does the Tablet Settings -> About Device say Build 1 when I'm on Build 2?
    A. I forgot to change the number. No biggie. If you have the extra apps I included, then everything's fine.

    Q. Why did you keep the bloat?
    A. Because some people use it. I'll put it in the Data Folder next build though so you can uninstall it.

    Q. When's the next update?
    A. Never. Just kidding. However, if you ask me despite me saying in several places not to, I won't be kidding.

    Q. I want xxx Feature added! Can do you do it?
    A. Post here and ask.

    Q. I LOVE this ROM. What can I do to help out and make better builds come?
    A. 1. Hit the thanks button 2. Donate 3. Share with fellow Tab users

    Q. :'( Why isn't my device supported?
    A. Probably because I haven't gotten a System Dump and Boot.img for it. See Post 7. to have your device supported.

    Device Support List:

(Later Revised Tablet's should work if their parent device is supported) [EX: GT-P6210 / GT-P6211]

    [X] GT-P6210
    [X] GT-P6200
    [_] SGH-T869

I'll work on it as soon as I can guys. :D.

Since I don't have a choice, I've been dragged out for my family for National Turkey day.

    I'll probably start tomorrow. :)

Hope that's okay with you all.

    FAQS

    Q. Why won't Version IV (4) be out for the GT-P6200 tomorrow?
    A. From now on I would like to have one or two people test the package before it's mass downloaded by all of you.

    Q. Why isn't the SGH-T989 getting Version 2, 3, or 4?
    A. I just got the dumps and boot.imgs. I always do the initial builds before doing the others.

    Q. What features will Version IV (4) have?
    A. Bug Fixes, File Cleanups, and mainly just a ton of cleaning. I'd like it to be marked as the next 100% Stable Build.

    Q. Can I be a tester?
    A. Sure! Just PM me with it as the subject of the message and I'll be sure to hook you up with pre and or final releases. (I won't respond after I get more than 3 testers for your device however, so be quick! :D)
