how to use em?

I've litter searched all youtube and alot of google and still can't even figure out on how to change my boot logo on my note 2 running 4.4.2 that is rooted. I've seen many other phones that did it but couldn't find any for the note 2 or similar! So can u please help me on how to do this?.

I'd like to know how to use a new boot image too....Verizon galaxy note 2 sch-i605. ....I've tried and can't get it working. ..ty
