I have an Issue with this Kernel. Flashed it with SlimBean 4.2.1 Stable and after Fix Permissions the CPU Frequency is still grayed out. In NS Tools it isn´t, but there is Governor grayed out .. dont know why?!? Any Idea ?

Except this everything is PERFECT!

Hi,
I am using CM 10.1 on my Nexus S and tried Matrix Kernel for its MTP support. BUT: I cannot seem to get it working. I tried to switch it on/off in settings and that USB switcher app (Yes with reboots in between).

Is this a known error? Is it easily fixable?

I ran into issues where Xylon keeps wanting to revert back to stock after applying themes and issues with installing kernels, phone would just bootloop back to bootloader. Weird stuff so i had to just flash back to stock 4.1.2 and start all over again. I have had this issue before and the only way i could resolve it was to flash the stock recovery and ROM and start all over. I don't think anything above 4.1.2 plays too nice for too long. I don't know but I am now working my way back to Xylon lol. Have to re-root and everything. I am sure i won't be the only one to run into these issues, especially since this is my 2nd experience. Just posting for that reason. Hopefully after I get back i will be able to flash Matr1x again.

I'm not supporting this kernel anymore. You might have missed that.

The moment i have always feared has arrived! :'-(

Are you working on another phone?

Being able to get your kernel on my next phone is a big criteria!

Sorry Mathkid, after rereading this post it sounds like I was pointing my issues at your kernel but I wasn't, I was just stating the weird issues I was having and how I couldn't even get this kernel to flash. It's something screwey with my phone I still haven't figured out why I can't flash this even after restoring back to stock and all. Anyway sorry for the post bud, just wish I could get back on Matr1x lol.

    - Touch Wake

    - Wheatley Governor

    - Custom Voltage Interface

    Changelog:

v22.5 Updated kernel base for JB, added all my favorite *useful* features and removed a ton of pointless stuff, changed LCD voltage to 2.3V, and used the Bcmdhd PM_FAST in standby.

v23.0 Reverted kernel base back to 3.0.31 for speed and stability, reverted the LCD UV, and added the interactive governor (with input boost).

v23.5 Added 1.2Ghz OC, Touch Wake, Voodoo Color, and CM versions.

v24.0 Added 1.32Ghz OC, 100% battery charge fix (cosmetic), and wheatley governor.

v24.5 Added DerTeufel's 4.2 bluetooth fix, the ROW I/O Scheduler, and Ezekeel's Custom Voltage Interface.

v25.0 Added DerTeufel's vibration control interface for his Helly Bean ROM, fixed the 100Mhz not sticking issue, added the SmartassV2 governor, added USB OTG, added CIFS, and added MTP (this might not work on all the ROMs, so just let me know on which ones it does work).

    Kernel update!

So here it is, JB Matr1x.

You may notice I have completely revamped the entire kernel and added only the features that I find useful. No more extra crap so please don't ask me for feature adding.

I may add overclocking later though!

For now, the focus is on speed and stability.

Oh yeah please don't ask for a screen color change either... I like these colors :)

    Enjoy!

Ok, kernel update! After some more long, gruesome testing this one has proved to be stable
